The wise tauren aids the gang by wielding nature's fury and raising roots from the ground to immobilize Ragnaros.

Strategy

Phase 1 - May the fire purify you!

In the first phase, the entire gang will spread across the entire Ragnaros platform. In this phase there are 4 skills. During all phases on tanks apply Burning Wound. You will have to change tanks every 5 marks of this skill.

When Ragnaros uses Sulfura Smash, he will face to the side and slam his weapon into the platform dealing heavy damage (an effect is seen where he will go). The hammer will appear 3 Lava waves that will kill in its path, you have to avoid them.

He will randomly use Wrath of Ragnaros or Hand of Ragnaros. These two attacks are in AOE, fire damage plus a push. It has to be cured.

The last ability is Magma Trap, these traps remain on the ground until they are deactivated. To deactivate them, someone has to get on top, the person who does it, will take Magma Trap Eruption, a lot of damage and fly away, so it better be a class with slow fall like the Wizard or the Priest of the Shadows or the occasional Paladin with Divine Protection. Magma Trap Eruption damage is for the entire raid, so before detonating them, check the raid health and give a warning.

At 70% they will leave their hammer on the platform and initiate a transition.

Transition - Minions of Fire!

In this transition, Children of the Flame will appear (165,000 health in 10 and 830,000 in 25), some minions that will go towards the hammer of Ragnaros, if they reach it they will cause Supernova by killing the raid.

These minions have a speed buff called Burning Speed, for every 5% health above 50%, they move 75% faster, when they reach 50% it dissipates. These minions can be stunned and pushed back. You have to quickly lower the one closest to the hammer to 75% / 50% and then move on to the next one. When the first one is about to reach the hammer, kill him. Leave the second and lower the third, kill the second and finish with the third. These minions can be pushed / moved with Typhoon, Deadly Pull, etc.

During this transition, while Ragnaros is in hiding, he will randomly drop raid members Lava Bolt. This transition lasts 45 seconds or until the Sons of the Flame die.

Phase 2 - Sulfuras will be your end!

In this phase the band will be divided, one part to the right and another to the left leaving the center free, Ragnaros will continue using Sulfur Smash and will add new abilities.

One of them is Magma Seed, it puts a seed at random player positions causing fire damage, then exploding doing 135.000 fire damage and an elemental will appear. When there are Magma Seeds, the band will gather in the center of the platform so that when the seeds explode they do not kill us (they do proximity damage). If it is in band of 10 simply change all of the right to the left (or vice versa). This will make some fire elementals appear and go towards the raid, they can be killed in areas easily. Then you have to go back to the original positions.

During this phase he will also use Devouring Flame filling almost a third of the fire platform you have to get away from where this comes from, it will kill if you step on it. Ragnaros can use Sulfur Smash at any time during this phase. At 40% another transition will return.

Transition - Flame Dwellers!

This transition is the same as the previous one, Sons of the Flame appear that must be eliminated, but also other minions will appear, Lava Successors (2 million life in 10p and 6.2 million in 25p), these minions are tanked and put random players Blazing Heat, this ability causes the affected player to leave a path of flame in their wake. It doesn't hurt us (if we move), but heals minions by 10%. Those affected must run to the outside of the platform so that the minions cannot heal. Ragnaros will come out again when the Children of the Flame are dead or after 45 seconds, leaving two Lava Successors on the raid that must be killed as quickly as possible.

Phase 3 - Out of my kingdom!

In this phase, Ragnaros will continue to use Sulfur Smash, and Devouring Flame (from phase 2).

In this phase he will add a new ability, Hot Meteorite. It will create a meteor that will chase a player. This meteorite cannot be approached by anyone or it will cause Meteor Impact and kill it. This meteorite must be attacked as it will cause Combustion causing a push, so you have to hit it every time it approaches a player. You have to watch where the meteorite is pushed so as not to throw it on top of anyone.

Stage 4 - The True Power of the Fire Lord! (only in heroic mode)

During this phase, the meteors must be controlled at the edges of the room and we will assign a couple of DPS to keep them in that position for as long as possible, the rest of the raid will start to deal damage to Ragnaros as soon as he appears.

As the first Cenarius Frost Extension appears, we will assign 3 groups to remain in 3 different positions, the members of each group about 6m apart from each other so as not to generate geysers. Meteorites must continue to be controlled around the room and never be brought into the Frost Extensions too early, otherwise the raid will receive too many stacks of Overheat and will most likely die.

The tank must not tank Ragnaros while running into the Frost Spread since if Hammul's Roots are thrown while Ragnaros remains in the Frost Spread it will not be rooted. If this happens they will have to play ping-pong with Ragnaros each to one side of the room so that it is rooted out of the frozen areas.
