Strategy

In the encounter against Star Augur Etraeus there are four phases that will begin when passing his life through 100%, 90%, 60% and 30%. In addition to the change in skills, we will notice the phase change due to the closing and opening of the panels that surround the room, each time revealing a different scenario that shows us different worlds.

Phase 1: The Observation Dome

As the match begins, the casters will position ourselves together a short distance from the melee, so that the entire band can be covered with the areas of the healers. This first phase will pass so quickly that I am not going to dwell on it. We will simply see that several players are marked with Coronal ejection, bearable damage with just the healing areas and the tank with the boss will receive Stellar explosion.

Phase 2: Absolute zero

Lowering the life of Star Augur Etraeus to 90% will lower the panels that line the room, eliminating the feeling of anguish and beginning the second phase. Absolute zero.

We will continue in the same position as in phase 1, but now the melés will have to keep 6 meters of distance with the tank that has Augur, since he will receive the ability Ice blast which deals a large amount of damage if you stay close to the tank.

The change of tanks has to be done when the first one receives the ability Gravitational attraction. This ability is very visible since the tank will be surrounded by a purple area, at this time it must separate from the rest of the players and wait for a Comet impact. Once you receive the hit you will gain a debuff called Absolute zero. The mechanics to eliminate this ability is very simple, but all players must be attentive and collaborate.

The tank will approach the group of casters, the players who enter the tank area and collaborate to eliminate the Absolute zero, they will gain a debuff called Cooled. This means that they cannot enter the tank area again until they are clean, so what we will do is simply take a few steps to the right for example and separate from the group, having agreed with the tank that he enters from the left. If a player enters the tank area while holding the debuff  Cooled  will remain Completely frozen.

Meanwhile we will also have to deal with the ability Icy ejection, for which the marked players will separate from the group as quickly as possible considering that they will be slowed down, and will not rejoin it until they are affected by Shred, a skill that eliminates Icy ejection in exchange for a large amount of damage to the player.

Tanks will continue to trade the boss at each brand of Gravitational attraction  and we will repeat the mechanics collaborating between all the players.

The last skill to consider is the Frost NovaEvery time Augur is going to use this ability, all the players must be placed together, it is enough with two groups, one of casters and the other of melés.

Stage 3: A Shattered World

Upon reaching 60% health, the third phase begins, A World Shattered. At this time the placement of the band changes and we will all stand apart, but occupying only one half of the circular room. Will mark random players with Fel Ejection , this ability will cause damage over time and we will leave patches of Vile flame. The objective is to leave them together and move to the side, for example, to the right towards the clean area.

Tanks in this phase will receive  Fel Burst and they will exchange the boss at each Gravitational attraction as in the previous phase. In this phase the tank will receive Vile Impact, as in the previous phase, the tank should be only at that time but it will also take advantage of cleaning the areas of Vile flame.

The last skill to consider in this phase is Fel Nova, every time Augur is going to use this ability we will have to run towards the edge of the room, as far away as possible; for this reason we must keep an area of the room always clean.

Phase 4: Inevitable Fate

When we reach 30% we change phase and positioning again. We will all place ourselves in the center of the room and melee the boss.

This last phase is a dps race since the damage will increase as the phase progresses due to the ability Void Burst. This is the brand that the tanks will receive and for which they will have to exchange Augur, since once it expires, it will jump to random players, making the fight more and more difficult.

In addition, in this phase the tank that has Star Augur Etraeus must provoke small minions that will come out with each  Vacuum Ejection and that they will die with residual damage so we will not give them too much importance.

However, the other tank will have to take care of the bigger minion named That Which Shouldn't Exist. Every time the tank has Gravitational attraction, you must move away from the group as in the previous phases and wait for a Void Impact, at that moment the henchman appears.

This minion must tank away from the boss, a position to do so can be the door, since if they are together he gains a buff that reduces the damage received by 99%.

We must be very attentive to the ability of the minion Contemplate the voidEvery time it does, we must turn our backs on it or else we will flee in terror, losing damage and healing.

In addition to all of the above, healers must deal in this last phase with the ability Void Nova, which will be doing more and more damage due to the accumulations of Void Burst. So this is the time to chain together all of our healing cds.

We will repeat the aforementioned until we defeat Augur. In a band with numbers like the ones you can see in the video guide, we killed two minions and before we finished off Augur. This will depend on the Dps and healing of each band, so I put it as an example. We throw the heroism on the second minion, we kill him and we focus on the boss until he dies.

And so far the summary of the meeting, I hope it has helped you and remember that any questions, comments or suggestions are more than welcome.
