In these locations we can find the generous tables, a type of table where sharing is very important. Blizzard's description for these types of tables is as follows:

On a generous table you will find five different meals typical of the Pilgrim's Generosity, each one in front of each chair. Each chair has an unlimited number of meals and they are conveniently labeled: The blueberry chair, The cake chair, The sweet potato chair, The stuffing chair, and of course The turkey chair. While sitting in a chair, you can eat as much as you want or pass food to other players who are sitting in other chairs. Share the abundances with all your friends!

Plus, if you eat five single-course servings, you'll earn unique benefits from that meal. And if you eat five servings of each of the dishes, you will win

The spirit of sharing It lasts one hour and increases your reputation by 10%. This can be achieved more quickly if all the diners at the same table share food with each other.

Remember that spending time is necessary to

Sharing is loving and throw it to another for the

"FOOD WAR!".

A very good idea to learn to share and make new friends at these meeting tables.

Items in the Pilgrim event

The ingredients needed to cook the Pilgrim's Bounty recipes are available at different enabled vendors for the duration of the event.

Several of them will help you achieve achievements such as

Chef, use our Express Kitchen Guide during the Pilgrim's Event.

In addition to ingredients, vendors also sell:

After completing the quest chain that ends with a

Turkey simmered (alliance version), you will receive the

Turkey llama. Object you use to call a Wild turkey by your side (which you must kill for your

Roasted wild turkey). Do not confuse it with a pet, the object disappears after the event ends.

There are also some seasonal items that are available as rewards from the different Daily Cooking Quests. You will only be able to choose one reward in each mission, therefore you should complete the five daily missions. You will need to eight daily missions for the

Turkey gun and smash the elusive rogues to complete the

Turkey stalker.

You must complete at least ten daily missions in order to obtain enough items to complete various achievements (Pilgrim's Hat, some outfit, and the 8

Turkey gun). The outfits and the Turkey Gun can be obtained by completing the daily missions of the event that we describe in the achievement section:

Event Recipes

The recipes you need, as well as the ingredients, are sold in the celebration areas, and are bought from some barrels that you will find near the npj's.

Cooking ! Players can buy the

Achievements

pilgrim_generosity_metachievement

Now we are going to review the achievements that we can achieve with this event and how to do them.

  • "FOOD WAR!"
Throw food at the head of a feasting partner at a generous table. You will have to go to one of the tables we talked about earlier and dump the food, but there has to be someone else sitting at your table.

  • pavonator
Hunt enough wild turkeys fast enough to get turkey triumph.
You will need to hunt 40 turkeys that you will find in the Elwynn Forest and in the Tirisfal Glades, there are no other turkeys other than those that appear with this event, such as those of Howling Fjord. Every time you kill a turkey they will give you 30 seconds to kill the next one. Better to use sparsely populated hours to accomplish this achievement. A useful trick would be to use the ability to Track beasts or failing that, use the Tracker Appetizers which will give you that ability for an hour. (Sayonara, turkey!)

  • Terokkar Turkey Time
Defeat King Claw Ikiss while wearing a Pilgrim's Hat and a Pregrino's Gown, Robe, or Garb.
The Claw King Ikiss awaits us in the Sethekk Halls and you can kill him in normal or heroic mode.

  • Turkey stalker
Destroy those dirty and sneaky rogues with your turkey gun.
(And why is that dirty?) We will have to find a rogue of each race and shoot him with our turkey gun.

    • Rogue Blood Elf
    • Rogue dwarf
    • Rogue gnome
    • Rogue human
    • Rogue night elf
    • Rogue Orc
    • Rogue troll
    • Rogue undead
  • So as they say, the best thing will be to make / cry in a corner, because it is going to be quite difficult.

  • Pilgrim's belly o

    Pilgrim's belly
Earn the Spirit of Sharing from a full bountiful table feast in each Horde or Alliance capital, depending on your faction. For the Alliance the capitals are: Darnassus, The Exodar, Ironforge and Stormwind; and for the Horde: Orgrimmar, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff and Undercity. To achieve this achievement we must follow the steps that we discussed in the previous section with the generous tables, you must eat five servings of each of the dishes to gain the Spirit of sharing.

  • Pilgrim risk o

    Pilgrim risk
While wearing a pilgrim's dress, toga, or garb, sit at the generous table in each of the enemy capitals. Unlike the previous achievement, this time we must go to the capitals of the opposing faction and eat something from their tables dressed for the occasion. I recommend you not to go during rush hours. The cities that Alliance members must visit to achieve this achievement are: Orgrimmar, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff, and Undercity; The Horde, on the other hand, must travel to: Darnassus, The Exodar, Ironforge and Stormwind. Based on the Pumpkin Pie mission description, it appears that the festival zone in Darnassus will be right behind the main gates so the Horde has to be prepared to run through Darnassus and reach the other side to complete the Pilgrim's Risk.

Here is the shopping list for the achievements (counting Now we are cooking, Pilgrim's Progress, Pilgrim's belly and Sharing is wanting):

Completing all these achievements will reward us with the title of Pilgrim and a pet the Fattened turkey.

A Little History

Like the Halloween event, the Pilgrim's Bounty event is clearly based on an American tradition, this is Thanksgiving. This day is not as widespread as Halloween and therefore its roots and customs are perhaps a little more unknown. In addition, contrary to what happens on Halloween, this day is based entirely on the customs of this country and not on legends and unified customs of other cultures.

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. It is a family celebration, in which people gather with their relatives around the table, carrying out traditional celebrations.

In November 1620, the Mayflower Protestants landed on the Massachusetts coast, fulfilling their purposes by establishing the Plymouth Colony. The harsh winter in these latitudes caught them by surprise, without having time to prepare for harsh conditions of deprivation and cold. Of the hundred pilgrims, only half survived. The survivors owed their fate to the help and food that the natives of the area, the Wampanoag Indians, provided them.

thanks_action_parade

The following year, the surviving settlers, already established and with the first harvest harvested, decided to share their surpluses with the Indians who had helped them the previous year. The governor of the colony proclaimed "a day to give thanks to the Lord so that we can in a more special way rejoice after having gathered the fruit of our work."

Although finally the story did not end so well for these Indians who were exterminated, almost in its entirety.
This festival, whose tradition dates back to that year 1621, did not become an official holiday until 1789.

The tradition of gathering as a family to enjoy a magnificent banquet and offer a prayer of thanks. The main course is usually a large stuffed roast turkey, served with cranberry sauce, vegetable dishes, and cakes, with pumpkin being the most popular. After dinner the preferred occupation is to watch the football games on television or the parade that takes place in New York. Also that day is the beginning of the Sales. The Friday after Thanksgiving is often referred to as "Black Friday" as stores turn their "red numbers" into profits after this day.

So with all this I hope you have a great week with this event and that you enjoy with the people you love the most.

To eat!
