Well, as you may have noticed, the web is slightly changed. And that's because GuiasWoW "reopens" its doors, with updated content...
Not everything on the web is writing articles... right? During the past week we have been giving the website a few twists and thinking about how to solve one of the problems that many of you had raised with us: Identity theft in the minichat.
The minichat is something that we have always liked, as it has brought a lot of conversation on the web. Content from inside and outside the web, news, experiences, etc. have been shared. Therefore, it is not something that we would like to remove but we had to take some action.
To do this, we are going to choose to eliminate the current minichat and move to a more modern one, located at the bottom, which allows you to access it as long as you have a Facebook or Twitter account. In this way, we make sure that there is no identity theft, avoiding problems that occurred in previous days. In addition, from the bar you have access to some of our networks and it even allows you to create internal bookmarks with favorite articles on the web. As if that weren't enough, the new minichat allows you to create private conversations between members!
The old minichat will disappear on Sunday and only the current one will remain. If we see that the bar is not receiving use, we will stop using it.

For a long time, we have been experiencing some problems with the comment system on the page. Although we had already considered migrating the comment system before, we had never done it for fear of losing all the old comments.
The web, for a year, had more than 17,000 comments and the comment system we used (JomComment, in case anyone is interested) did not seem prepared to endure such a lot of comments.
The choice was clear Disqus. Solving two problems with the change: Reduce the load on the web by comments and get a system that is adapted to new technologies. After creating a script that would allow us to export all the comments and verify that the system works perfectly, we are ready to put the system up and running.
Today we present you Disqus.
If you already know the system, you can stop reading right now, but I recommend that you take a look at the features of the new system.
