Children's Week Guide

On Sunday, April 29, an event in World of Warcraft called La

Children's Week which lasts until May 5, just one week. With this guide we are going to explain how to achieve all the achievements related to this week and thus achieve the meta-achievement For children which in turn is part of the meta-achievement It has been a long and rare journey whose reward is a brand new Violet Proto-Drake. The title that we will get this time is Matron / Patron.

To complete these achievements, except for Look how cute, we will need an orphan, you can make the achievements before delivering the missions of the Overseers or, well, deliver them and then ask them again for an orphan whistle to be able to go to complete the achievements.

Here you have the guide, as always, so you don't miss a single detail.

Due to the arrival of Cataclysm, the Week of the Child had some changes, two new pets and changes in the places of the missions. In Mists of Pandaria, pets are linked to the account. These account-bound items can be transferred between characters on the same account as long as they are in the same realm. This includes characters that are in the opposing faction.

The achievements

For children
Complete the Children's Week achievements except the

Veteran babysitter. The achievement grants you the title of 'Matrona' or 'Pattern' (depends on the gender of your character) and is a requirement of the achievement

It's been a long and weird journey (alliance) that rewards you with

Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake.

Home alone

This achievement hardly needs explanation. We will only have to use our

Hearth stone while our orphan is away. There are some reports that it could be bugged but you just need to log in and out for us to see correctly that our achievement is archived.

Bad example
To complete this achievement we will have to binge on sweets in front of our orphan who will look at us with a sad face while we put on our boots. Here is the list and where to get the sweets that we have to eat with pleasure:

Daily chores
This achievement is also quite straightforward. You have to complete five a day, they can be whatever you want and the days you want, what's more, you can deliver the first day five a day, with your orphan by your side, and it will count as completed.

School of good shots
This achievement for me is one of the "heaviest". We have to go to all the battlefields with our orphan and have a little luck:

  • Eye of the storm: Here we will have to capture the flag, that is, take it and deliver it to one of the bases. It is perhaps one of the most difficult.
  • Arathi Basin: In this case we will have to assault a flag, for which it must have already been taken by the opposing faction and, later, then take it.
  • Alterac Valley: Here we have to assault one of the towers, in general, if you follow the group and join a couple of players to assault a tower you will not have problems.
  • Warsong Gorge: This time we have to deliver a flag. You have to be attentive and have both skill and dexterity so that as soon as we see a flag fall (or we make it fall) we deliver it quickly.

Say hello to the king, little one!
For this achievement you must kill the King Ymiron, the last boss of the Utgarde Pinnacle dungeon, while your orphan is by your side.

Look how cute
To complete this achievement you have to get one of the pets that is a reward for the orphan's missions. You may already have this achievement if you previously obtained the pet. This achievement should be the last to be obtained although we still have the opportunity to get the rest of the achievements doing it with the orphan that we have not used, that of Shattrath if we deliver our orphan of the capital of the faction or that of the capital of the faction if we deliver that of Shattrath.

Peanut

Rapidin

Willy

Mostachia the Rat

Egbert

Don Suckling Pig

Paws

Scooter the snail

Veteran babysitter
To complete the achievement, you must obtain 3 pets from the Shattrath City in a personake. Not required for MetaAchievement

For children.

This achievement, if it is the first year that you do the orphan missions, you will not be able to complete it, you must get Willy the Sleepy, the Egbert egg and the elekk training collar with a single character. You can only get one of these three pets each year.

I have gone to the battlefield but he did not let me use the whistle because he said that you could not use pvp, how do I do it?

    1.    Adrian Da Cuna said

What bg did you go to exactly? To check if there is a report and test it when I connect

    2.    Adrian Da Cuna said

Well I just found the answer to your question. The whistle can only be used before entering the bg to do the achievement, it does not allow you to use it during or after entering.

So remember: when you get the notice to enter the bg use the whistle and enter, in that order.

It is impossible to enter the Alterac Valley, I have been waiting for hours (without exaggeration) to enter a field and they always play the same and if you put it in specific it is both the same.

If you see that it takes too long to try the mercenary mode, it is an escape route for the endless queues

        How is the mercenary mode?

        1.    Adrian Da Cuna said

It was implemented near the end of Draenor. It is a PvP game mode where you compete as the opposite faction. Everything has been the same as if you play with your faction except that now you play on the opposite side and your race changes (obviously). In Dalaran you can activate it in sergeant-wilson. It comes cool when the queues are endless and you try the other side to see how it works (it always works for me and my colleagues)
