The Lunar Festival is back

Lunar Festival Celebration

The Lunar Festival is back! For yet another year the Druids of Moonlight celebrate their long-gone victory over the Burning Legion thanks to the alliance of the night elves, the tauren, and the proto-dwarf earthlings.

The celebration consists of honoring the ancestors scattered throughout Azeroth and celebrating the holiday with fireworks. As a curiosity, this event is inspired by the Chinese New Year and this is based on the lunisolar calendar.

Have fun with the Lunar Festival

The vendors of the event are in the Clear of the moon, in Kalimdor. To get there, the most advisable thing is to complete a short chain of missions (3 to be exact) called The Lunar Festival, available in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Darnassus, Dalaran, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms thanks to the Emissaries of the Lunar Festival. Once the small chain of missions is completed we will obtain a Invitation to the Lunar Festival to transport us to the Moonlight.

In Claro de la Luna we have the vendors of the event. These vendors sell their items in exchange for Coins of Lineage, costumes and dresses, fireworks, engineer schematics, tailoring patterns, food and mascots are available Festival lantern y Lunar Lantern. To obtain these coins we must speak with the ancestors scattered throughout Azeroth. In addition they will also give us Lucky red envelope, containing moonstones to illuminate locations.

This year there is a novelty. There are 2 schematics for engineers that allow the creation of 2 toys (one for the Alliance and one for the Horde). Toys are the Perpetual Alliance Fireworks y Perpetual Horde Fireworks.

Also in the Claro de la Luna the mission is available Elune's blessing which consists of beating Augury, boss available only during the event located near the Moonlight Lake.

For achievement lovers, this event consists of 16 achievements and a meta-achievement that rewards us with a total of 190 achievement points. If we complete all of them we will obtain the title Old.

The event lasts from February 16 to March 2.

Happy Lunar Festival!
