The weekly event, Timewalking Cataclysm, has started, giving us access to new rewards. We have from November 18 to 23 to complete the event mission and accumulate the new currency, Time badge, which we will obtain from the bosses and at the end of each dungeon.
Time Ride Cataclysm
With the new reward system, we will have to accumulate a large amount of Time badge to be able to redeem according to what reward.
According to Chief Designer Ion Hazzikostas:
The Timewalking reward system is designed for a longer time frame than the scope of the patch.
Holding Time badge
- We will earn Badges for several reasons:
- Kill a boss - 5 x Time badge
- Kill a final boss - 10 x Time badge
- Complete a random dungeon - 10 x Time badge
- Additionally, finishing each of the following dungeons also provides Badges:

Once per event we can complete the mission The smoldering ember - 500 x Time badge. This quest is started by obtaining
Smoky ember distorted by time, and is completed by talking to kiatke in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
Weekly event mission
- Mission is maintained An icy path through time: Complete 5 Timewalking dungeons.
- Rewards: Iron Fleet Chest + Inevitable Fate Stamp
Spending Time badge
These Badges can only be spent for the duration of the event, as that will be when we find the item vendor kiatke in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
In this vendor we will find slot items, which will scale the item level according to the level of the player who buys it, reaching 675 if the player is level 100.
