In the next patch 6.2 many professions will be modified and new recipes will be added. In addition, there will be a new material required for the new designs, the Fel Plague. Today we sum up all the major career changes for the next patch.

Vile plague
The most important novelty of the next patch is the implementation of a new material called felt light (vile plague). This material will have a use very similar to the current Wild Blood. Its use is tied to all the new profession recipes and the latest improvements that will be available.
But where can we get felt light (vile plague)? Well, according to the latest modifications of the RPP the felt light (vile plague) will be obtained with gathering professions. Specifically with Mining, Herbalism, Skinning and Fishing.
When gathering plants, gathering ore, skinning creatures, or fishing in the Tanaan Jungle We will have a chance to obtain Vile Plague. In addition, this material will not be bound, therefore it will also be possible to buy / sell it at the auction house.
This is certainly an unexpected turn in the expansion. Many players have removed their collecting professions due to the Citadel's conveniences and it will now be necessary to re-collect in the old fashioned way (or go up fishing as a secondary profession) in order to obtain this valuable material needed in many powerful recipes for our professions.
Professions in 6.2
With the arrival of patch 6.2, many professions will be available new recipes with which to continue improving weapons / armor or create new objects more powerful than the current ones. In the following summary you will find all the changes in the professions:
General changes
New ranges for created objects
2 new ranks have been added to upgrade crafted weapons / armor. The 2 new ranges are called «powerful»(Rank 5 increases ilvl to 700) and«salvaje»(Rank 6 increases ilvl to 715). In the case of weapons, rank 5 "powerful" increases the ilvl to 690 and rank 6 "wild" increases the ilvl to 705.
To create the mentioned improvements it will be necessary to use the new material felt light (vile plague).
These new enhancements will be available in the Profession sellers visiting our Citadel.
Consolidation of current improvements
Currently existing upgrades will be consolidated into a single item that will improve the ilvl of an item created by profession by 15 points. Therefore Rank 2, 3, and 4 upgrades will become part of a single item. This item can upgrade an armor / weapon up to rank 4, increasing 15 points of ilvl each application.
For example, Hexweave Essence (rank upgrade 2) will become Hexweave Essence (Increases the ilvl of a tailor-made armor by 15 points to a maximum of 685).
With the arrival of Patch 6.2, Rank 2, 3, and 4 Upgrades will be converted to Unstable Upgrades. When using them they will be transformed into the new rank 2 improvements like the one mentioned before and we will also obtain part of the materials that were used. For example the current Greater Burnished Essence will become Unstable Greater Burnished Essence and when using it we will obtain a burnished essence (increases the ilvl of an armor created with leatherworking by 15 points up to a maximum of 685), 50 burnished leather y 10 sorceress water.
Changes in the quantity of materials
Another notable improvement in the professions in Patch 6.2 is the change in the quantities of existing materials.
Has increased amount of material obtained of investigations with daily cooldown (such as Truesteel Ingot). This change affects the creation of:
- Burnished leather
- Alchemical catalyst
- Hexweave Cloth
- Truesteel Ingot
- Drillite crystal
- Shock absorber parts
- Temporary crystal
- Wild blood
- Sorcerous Air
- Sorcerer fire
- Sorceress water
- Sorcerous land
In addition, many of the existing recipes for professions that use the materials listed above will ask for less of these materials.
Also to facilitate the leveling up of professions in Warlords of Draenor has been increased the number of skill points that grant the recipes that do not ask for the materials created daily.
Profession-specific changes
Jewelry
New sketches have been added for Jewelery, immaculate gems. These new gems grant 75 stat points.
To obtain the new Jewelery sketches, it will be necessary to carry out a quest chain in the Tannan Jungle. By completing this chain of missions we will obtain the sketch to be able to create the immaculate gems of versatility (immaculate drill of versatility).
To obtain the rest of the sketches we will have to create the immaculate gems of versatility or obtain the sketches of the creatures of the Tanaan jungle. For each immaculate gem created we have a chance of obtaining the recipe for one of the immaculate gems that we do not yet have:
- Immaculate Critical Strike Drill (Immaculate Critical Strike Drill +75 Critical Strike)
- Immaculate Bit of Haste (Immaculate Haste Drill +75 Haste)
- Immaculate Drill of Mastery (Immaculate Mastery Drill +75 Mastery)
- Immaculate Multi-Strike Drill (Immaculate multi-hit drill +75 multi-hit)
- Immaculate Bit of Stamina (Immaculate Bit of Stamina +75 Stamina)
- Immaculate Drill of Versatility (Immaculate Bit of Versatility +75 Versatility)
Alchemy
The amount of profession materials required to craft has been reduced:
- Earth Stone (70 alchemical catalyst, 15 Wild blood, 15 Sorcerous land, 1 Wind stone)
- Stone of the waters (70 alchemical catalyst, 15 Wild blood, 15 Sorceress water, 1 Earth Stone)
- Firestone (70 alchemical catalyst, 15 Wild blood, 15 Sorcerer fire, 1 Stone of the waters)
Registration
New minor glyph for shaman Glyph of Ascension [1 light papyrus, 3 war ink, 1 felt light (vile plague)]. This glyph modifies your ascension to now have an enhanced elemental appearance based on your normal humanoid form.
Mining
When collecting ore in the Tannan Jungle you have a chance to get felt light (vile plague).
Skinning
Skinning beasts in Tanaan Jungle has a chance to gain felt light (vile plague).
Herbalism
When collecting plants in the Tanaan Jungle you have a chance to obtain felt light (vile plague). Also in the Tanaan Jungle there will be a new plant that will directly grant felt light (vile plague).
Fishing
In the waters of the Tanna jungle you can fish vile piranha. Also when fishing in fishing grounds of vile piranha we will have the possibility of obtaining felt light (vile plague).
Fishermen with a Fishing hut at 3rd level in their citadel they will have a chance to get Vile Piranha Snout. Nat Pagle in our Citadel will be interested in this rare fish.

I have the same opinion. Getting wild blood with the stable was something that made me desperate, I prefer the classic collection.
