Elvui - Basic Configuration

What is promised is debt! As they say, so here I bring you a video tutorial of Elvui and its basic configuration.

Installing the Elvui addon

To download Elvui, we must go directly to the page of tukui.org and download the latest version, at this time it is 8.43, which you will see in the video. Once downloaded, we simply have to extract it and copy it to the path C: \ Program Files (x86) \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns.

Elvui - Basic Configuration

As I show in the video you will find when connecting a welcome screen, you can skip it or follow the steps that I indicate, so that you will save time in the subsequent configuration. In this welcome screen we will leave the CVars, the Chat, the Theme, the Resolution, the Distribution based on the roll we play and the Auras Icons configured.

Once this is done, you can access the Elvui interface from the letter "c" on the minimap. In this interface we will find many options that you will investigate over time, but to begin, in the video I explain the options you need to start:

• Action bars
  • How to change and place the bars as we like the most and it suits our style of play. Microbar, Pet Bar, Shape Bar.
• Unity Frames
  • How to place the frame of the player and the objective, in terms of size, position, name, face etc.
  • Marcos de Jefe, Banda, Grupo and Arenas. What is each one and how to move them and adjust the size of each one.
  • Enable and disable all other drive frames.
• Cat
  • Size of both panels and the font.
• General
  • Automatic Greed / Disenchantment
  • Accept Invitations
  • Sell ​​Gray Objects

As a note saying something that I forgot at the time I recorded, although if I talk about the Emergent description, I did not remember to tell you how to activate or deactivate in combat. It is usually very annoying during combat that we get descriptions of the magic or the players through which the course passes, so to remove it, within the interface, we will open the option Emergent Description> Visibility> Never Hide> and click the Combat box.
