Twin Consorts Guide - Twin Consorts, available at Pinnacle of Storms (Throne of Thunder). The twin Consorts of Lei Shen, Lu'Lin and Suen, are said to be the most important treasures of the Thunder King. It is rumored that they are the only female members of the mogu in existence. Lei Shen keeps his treasures close; and even closer to the powerful combined arsenal that makes them so strong against intruders.

Ions: Players may have noticed the complete absence of female mogu during their travels across the continent of Pandaria. Players who take a closer look at the models of these heavenly twins will notice that their shapes literally appear to have been sculpted from stone. And so it is. These twins were specially created by Lei Shen and strengthened to serve and protect him, thus they are a direct reflection of his will rather than a symbol of the mogu culture as a whole. A previous version of the concept for this fight had been the spirits of the Sun and the Moon, but that idea did not close (and we all know that the only true spirit of the Moon is Elune, and clearly she was not imprisoned by the King of Thunder). ).

The Twin Consorts are the eleventh boss in Throne of Thunder. This fight, against two Mogu females, is a bit different from the usual twin fights, in which they do not share health.

3. DPS requirements

Assuming the tank deals half the damage of a DPS and the bosses rage after 10 minutes, the DPS requirements are as follows:

4. Summary of the fight

The fight against the Twin Consorts is a four-stage fight, during which you will fight against Lu'lin y They sound, two bosses who do not share health.

1. La Dark Phase It starts when you face the bosses, and lasts precisely 3 minutes. During this time, you will be fighting mostly Lu'lin, but Suen will occasionally appear for a few brief moments and cast spells on your raid.
2. La Phase of the Day begins when the Dark Phase ends, and also lasts 3 minutes. During this time, you will mostly fight Suen, but Lu'lin will appear at times and cast spells on your raid.
3. La Phase At Sunset it begins when the Day Phase ends, and lasts until one of the bosses is dead. During this phase, you will be fighting both bosses at the same time.
4. Phase four It starts when Lulin or Suen dies and lasts until the second boss is killed.
   • Killing Suen first makes Phase Four a Dark Phase.
   • Killing Lu'lin first makes Phase Four a Phase of the Day.

During the fight, your gang can receive help from the Four Celestials: Niuzao, Chi-Ji, Yu'lon, and Xuen. By having players perform certain unique tasks, you can summon the help of each of these Celestials, up to twice per fight. Each Celestial will provide a different temporary buff for your raid.

6. Dark Phase

The Dark Phase begins when bosses are engaged. Suen will disappear, and your gang will face Lu'lin. Although, Suen will appear at times to cast spells on your raid. The phase ends after 3 minutes.

6.1. Skills

During this phase, Lu'lin will use various abilities.

• 

  Moon lotus it is a skill that casts regularly during this phase. She randomly places a lotus flower in one place in the room (usually, it seems to be far from the center). For a long time (possibly until the end of the fight), this flower sends clouds in all directions, which move slowly. A player is put to sleep if they have contact with these clouds (and essentially incapacitated) for 5 seconds.

• 

  Cosmic barrage it is a skill that Lu'lin casts regularly. She channels the spell for a few seconds, creating a number of stars on the floor. After a few seconds, each star chooses a random player and charges towards him, dealing damage within an 8-yard radius, and knocking the affected players down. It is important to know that this spell does not select melee players, probably assuming there is a minimum number of players at that range.

• 

  Nightmare beast it is a spell that Lu'lin casts a few times during this phase. She invokes a Nightmare beast, a hostile NPC, which fixates on tanks. Only the tank the mob is attached to can damage and kill it. Each time the targeted player receives a heal, the healer that heals them receives a stacking debuff called

Suen also appears sometimes during this phase. It does not need to be tanked. It also casts two abilities.

  The sun's tears is a channeled attack that deals fire damage to the raid every second.

• 

  Day light is a power that Suen throws at a random player, dealing damage within 8 yards.

6.2 Strategy

During this phase, your band should perform relatively few simple tasks.

• Separate, so they don't take additional damage from

  Cosmic barrage y

  Day light.

• Avoid the clouds released from

  Moon lotus created by Lu'lin. They move slowly, so avoiding them shouldn't be difficult.

• Have the tank that is not focused by a Nightmare beast tankee the boss.
• The tank that is targeted by a Nightmare Beast must kill it. Healers must keep this tank alive with few possible heals, to minimize the amount of damage they take from

  Corrupt healing.

7. Phase of the Day

The Day Phase begins after the Dark Phase ends (then 3 minutes into the fight). During this phase you will mostly be fighting Suen, but Lu'lin will appear sometimes for brief moments. The phase ends after 3 minutes.

7.1. Skills

During this phase, Suen will use various abilities.

• 

  Fan of flames Quickly attacks his target with a fiery fan, dealing weapon damage as Fire damage and increasing the amount of Fire damage taken by 25%.

• 

  Flames of passion Leap towards an enemy, dealing 138750 to 161250 damage. Fire damage and knock back all nearby enemies.

• 

  Flaming radiance Deals 47850 to 62150 damage. Fire damage to all enemies and increases the damage done by Fire attacks by 2%.

• Suen continues to use

  Day light during this phase, which functions the same as in the Dark Phase.

Lu'lin appears several times during this phase. She is presented momentarily, during that time she casts an ability against your band. It does not need to be tanked.

• Every 20 seconds, Lu'lin throws

  Ice kite to your band. Multiple projectiles land at a player's location, dealing damage to anyone they hit. After the effect ends, a hostile NPC named Ice kite.

  • If Suen is near the Ice kite, she slowly loses an accumulation of

    Flaming radiance. As this happens, its heat also melts the Ice Comet, until the comet dies. The closer Suen is to the comet, the faster it melts.

  • Players who stand next to the Ice Comet are considered hidden in its shadow, and benefit from a buff called

    Icy shadows, which greatly reduces fire damage taken, but also reduces haste a bit.

  • Players can attack and kill the Ice Comet.

Finally, although the Lotus Flowers created by Lu'lin during the Dark Phase as part of his

Moon lotus they will still be around, they don't do anything during this phase.

7.2 Strategy

This phase is considerably more difficult than the Dark Phase. Your band has to keep accumulating

Flaming radiance of Suen very low, bringing her close to a Ice kite as many times in phase as possible.

The boss will still have stacks of Blazing Radiance at certain points in the phase, because comets are not always present, and because she will sometimes charge away players via

Flames of passion, moving away from the comet, then its damage will be very high.

It is possible (and certainly recommended) that players who are selected by

Ice kite Stay away from that location to avoid being hit by projectiles.

Tanks also have to alternate with Suen, as she accumulates the

Fan of flames on your current goal. The tank currently with Suen should try to benefit from the buff

8. Phase At Sunset

The Sunset Phase begins at the end of the Day Phase (6 minutes into the fight). During this phase you will fight both Lu'lin and Suen at the same time. The phase continues until both bosses are dead.

8.1. Skills

During this phase, Lu'lin and Suen are active. We'll discuss the abilities each of them possess in this phase (note that they retain some of the old abilities, and Lu'lin gains a new one as well).

8.1.1. Lu'lin

During this phase, Lu'lin will no longer use

Moon lotus, and whatever Lotus Flowers are out there will be harmless. Nor will you use

Nightmare beast ni

Cosmic barrage.

However, she will continue to release

Ice kite.

In addition to this, Lu'lin gains a new ability.

Tidal force it is a channeled spell that Lu'lin uses often. While channeling it, she sends waves of water in many directions. These waves do a lot of damage to anyone who hits them. While channeling this spell, Lu'lin is immune to all spells cast on her, and also dodges all attacks, effectively becoming immune to all damage.

8.2 Strategy

Since this phase ends when one of the two bosses is dead, your raid's goal is to kill one of the bosses as quickly as possible. Because Lu'lin is immune to damage for considerable chunks of time in this phase, you must focus entirely on Suen. This is a good idea too because a fourth phase where you have to fight Lu'lin is easier than fighting Suen alone.

Your band should be spread out to minimize damage from

Day light.

You should continue tanking. Suen next to the Ice kite, to reduce your accumulation of

Flaming radiance.

The most difficult part of this phase comes from a very damaging spell that is difficult to dodge.

Tidal force thrown by Lu'lin. The wave moves very fast, the players will have to be very careful to avoid them. It is difficult to avoid them but not impossible, you should try to have everyone covered with some defensive CD (such as

Summoning howl o

Aura of Devotion).

9. Phase Four: Final Darkness or Daylight

When one of the two bosses dies during the Sunset Phase, you will enter the phase associated with the remaining boss. That is, if you kill Suen, you will enter the Final Phase of Darkness, and if you kill Lu'lin, you will enter the Final Phase of the Day.

Regardless of which phase you enter, you will remain in that phase until you kill the last boss.

9.1. Darkness

If you kill Suen first, you enter the Final Phase of Darkness, you will not find this phase very problematic. Damage to the raid is considerably less than the first Dark Phase, as Suen does not appear to cast

All of Lu'lin's abilities from the previous phase will still be used, but at this point in the fight, your biggest concern will be most of all the 10 minutes to enrage.

9.2. Day light

If you kill Lu'lin first, you enter the final phase of the Day, you will find this phase very difficult. The difficulty is because you with Lu'lin dead, they will not appear anymore Ice kite, therefore, you will have no way to remove accumulations of

You will have to make use of defensive and healing CDs, as well as offensive ones that you have left, in order to kill Suen as quickly as possible. Also note the time to enrage is coming soon.

10. Celestial Buffs

Near the walls of the room, there are four small pillars, and on top of them is a projection of one of the four Celestials. Players can click on the pillars, and if they manage to complete the task given to them, the Celestial projected on the respective pillar will grant aid to your raid.

You can receive help from any Celestial with a maximum of 2 per fight. To be more specific, their cooldown resets upon entering the Sunset Phase, so if you've used them before that, you can use them one more time.

The four effects are:

• 

  Fortitude of the ox, granted by Niuzao, which increases the maximum health of all players for 15 seconds;

• A Rush of Cranes, awarded by Chi-Ji, causes several cranes to pass through the room, dealing damage to your enemies;
• 

  Dragon vitality, granted by Yu'lon, which restores health and mana to your raid;

• The Tiger's Celerity, granted by Xuen, which reduces most of the boss's abilities and effects, making them easier to evade.

10.1. Activating a Celestial

When a player clicks on a Celestial pillar, they are transported to another dimension. In the same room but alone.

On their heads will appear some marks (for example, the letter W). On the floor of the room, there will be a collection of stars. To summon the Celestial's aid, the player must recreate the mark on top of their character by connecting the stars on the ground to form an identical pattern.

Connecting the stars is done simply by walking on them. You can imagine that your character is a pencil, and the floor is a piece of paper.

When the task is completed successfully, the player will be taken back to the rest of the gang.

10.2. Optimal use of the Celestial

There are two things to consider when choosing the Celestials.

• The Sunset Phase is the most stressful from a healing and survival perspective, you will want to use the

  Fortitude of the ox and Tiger's celerity during this phase to help your gang survive.

• The faster Suen dies, the easier the fight will be, so make sure you do as much damage to him as possible. This means that you should use A Rush of Cranes once during the Day Phase, and then once more during the Sunset Phase.

Our first recommendation is that you use A Rush of Cranes and

Dragon vitality during the Day Phase, preferably at the end of the phase. This will restore mana to your healers to prepare for the Sunset Phase, and will also give you plenty of time for the cranes to deal damage to Suen (the cranes do their damage for a long time).

Our second recommendation is that you use all 4 Celestials during the Sunset Phase. You can probably afford not to activate any Celestial for the first

Tidal forceSince everyone in the raid should be more or less at full health, then you can start with A Rush of Cranes. For the second Tidal Force, you must activate Fortitude of the Ox, ensuring your players survive. You can then activate Dragon Vitality again, to restore some health and mana to the players before finally activating Tiger's Celerity in such a way to coincide with the next Tidal Force (making the waves easy to evade).

11. When to use Heroism / Bloodlust / Time Warp

Temporal Distortion during the Sunset Phase. Because this phase is the most difficult in the fight, and it is imperative to get out of it as quickly as possible by killing one of the bosses.

12. Learning the Fight

Until the Phase At Sunset, your progress of the fight depends only on whether or not you can survive (the phases end after 3 minutes). So getting used to the first two phases, your raid may sacrifice a few tries during which the goal is to survive and do no damage.

During the Dark Phase, the real problem will be the

Nightmare beast. Healers must use their best healing spell on a player to the tank that is pinned by the beast.

During the Phase of the Day, the main task falls on the tanks who have to keep Suen close to the comets to remove accumulations of

Flaming radiance.

During the Phase At Sunset, the gang will have to adapt to dodging damage from

Tidal force.
