02/05 - Updates to Patch 4.1 notes and live fixes

Over the weekend, Blizzard has released some fixes and updates to the Patch 4.1 notes. There is a quite shocking sentence although you may already know of its existence:

General

  • The portals to each of the capital cities have returned to Dalaran and Shattrath.

Paladin

  • Divine Protection can no longer be dispelled.

Shaman

  • Talent Specialization
    • Elemental combat
      • Earthquake is no longer a channeled spell. Now has a 2.5 second cast time, lasts 10 seconds, and has a 10 second cooldown. Its damage has been reduced by 40% compared to the channeled version.

How many of you already knew?

After the jump you have all the live corrections that have been made on the servers. They fix various things in Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub.

  • Classes
    • Some outages were missing targets incorrectly. Wind Slash, Spell Block, Counterspell, Mind Freeze, and Nether Shock and Serenity Dust hunter pet abilities should no longer fail.
    • Characters riding with an active pet bar should no longer lose control of the pet if they ride under any crowd control effects.
    • Priests
      • Divine Aegis no longer produces a shield if the full health it should cause is absorbed by a Necrotic Strike from a Death Knight.
  • Dungeons and Raids
  • The Exotic Mystery Bag given to members of an eligible class role for Dungeon Finder: Call to Arms has now increased the chance of containing a vanity pet.
  • The Twilight Bastion
    • The time between the Corruption Supporters' summoning and Cho'gall's Fury is consistent with their behavior prior to Patch 4.1.
  • Blackwing Descent
    • Maloriak no longer interrupts his own Arcane Storm casts by moving mid cast.
    • Nefarian will no longer recoil towards his primary target
  • Zul'Aman
    • All non-elite creatures that respawn quickly no longer grant loot, reputation, or experience.
    • Akil'zon will summon Amani Kidnappers less frequently, but his health has been increased.
  • Zul'Gurub
    • All non-elite creatures that respawn quickly no longer grant loot, reputation, or experience.
    • Gurubashi Villagers and Gurubashi Refugees no longer have epic loot.
    • Ohgan will no longer fail to target and kill Chained Spirits if stunned at certain times.
  • Brotherhoods
    • Guilds near level 25 should correctly receive the first realm achievement (where applicable) regardless of whether or not contributing members have recently transferred to the realm.
  • Objects
    • Players can no longer purchase any City Reputation Wallets without having the required Reputation.
  • Careers
    • Engineering
      • Nitro Boosts now deal 80% of the Engineer's health for 8 seconds when failed due to a Fuel Leak, up from 120%.
  • Missions and Creatures
    • NPCs should be less talkative when interacting with them. They were saying all of their phrases in virtually every interaction (buy, sell, etc).
    • Mount hyjal
      • Archdruid Hamuul is no longer incorrectly visible in the Shrine of Malorne after players complete Fire Fighting while on the Miracle of Aessina mission
