06/01 - Recent fixes live to servers

Blizzard has increased the live fixes that have been made to the server recently. Among them is the one that we have already explained this morning, which had to do with the Brotherhood jars and Cauldrons.

  • General
    • Master Mixer (Guild Achievement) is now awarded 1000 flasks, up from 10000, and How to Better Level Up Through Chemistry (Guild Achievement) is awarded 3000 flasks, up from 25000. Apparently We got a bit out of hand with the amounts. You can find more information about it here.
    • The seventh and eighth Guild Bank tabs will now allow players to extract and deposit items after the Guild Master has changed.
    • The six Guild Battle Standards have their experience and honor gain buffs increased by 5/10/15%, up from 2/4/6%, and have a duration of 10 minutes.
    • Haste buffs no longer reduce the effectiveness of haste on resource regeneration speed (energy, focus, etc.).
    • "Smart" food has turned out not to be so smart. Players with a low dodge rating, caused by a past error on an item, will no longer gain a dodge buff when ingesting "smart" food, such as Cataclysm feasts if they are not plate tanks. Other classes and specs will get their dominant primary stat.

  • Classes
    • Witches
      • Friendly Knockdown Totems will no longer be affected by Soul Barter or Soul Barter Exhale of Warlocks. The Knockdown Totem will not disappear with either spell, and Soul Barter works correctly when shifting damage-over-time effects to another target near the totem.
    • Death knights
      • Ghouls do not gain Shadow Infusion when Death Coil is cast during the setup phase of a rated arena or battlefield match, making it impossible to use Dark Transformation before the match begins. Shadow Infusion and Dark Transformation function normally after the setup phase.
    • Hunters
      • Hunters can no longer sometimes activate multiple appearances at once with the use of Camouflage. Very devious.
    • Druids
      • Fungal Outbreak now applies even if Wild Mushroom Detonation is used from 40 yards away.
      • Head Punch no longer interrupts the target if it doesn't land properly.
    • Paladins
      • Paladins using Divine Shield can now cast on targets within the same area of ​​effect as Smoke Bomb, in addition to healing others.
    • Priests
      • Casting Flash Heal under the effects of both Surge of Light and Inner Focus will now only consume Surge of Light.
      • Contrition's healing is now capped at 30% of the priest's health prior to any modifiers such as effects or bonus talents from the healing percentage.
    • Warriors
      • Warriors can no longer teleport using Charge with the Tharet Dynasty Mallet.
  • Dungeons and Raids
    • Several Cataclysm raid bosses are now properly immune to pet taunt abilities.
    • Players will no longer appear in their own room after re-entering a dungeon from which they have already been saved.
    • The Bastion of Twilight
      • It is no longer possible to get out of range of Halfus Wyrmbreaker's Drakes without being melee attacked. Drakes are now correctly repositioned to regain the ability to attack the melee target.
      • The Twilight Phase Shifter ability now has an initial cast delay of 7 seconds, up from 5; and a casting time of 8 seconds instead of 6.
      • Shadow Elementals and Fire Elementals are now always absorbed during the Cho'gall encounter. Elementals are absorbed regardless of how much health they have. Cho'gall always receives the appropriate amount of the corresponding benefit from consuming an elemental. Elementals cannot have less than 1 health or else die, so Cho'gall always receives at least one stack of the corresponding buff at the very least.
      • Shadow Lords no longer regenerate health under any circumstances.
      • Liquid Ice in phase 3 of the Ascendant Council encounter now deals more damage.
      • The component that deals Eruption damage no longer interrupts Terrastra when she casts Harden Skin or Tremor.
    • Blackwing Descent
      • Anti-Magic Shell no longer stops Onyxia or Nefarian's cast of Shadowflame Breath.
      • Chimaeron now resets his melee attack cycle after each Massacre and dispels the Double Attack buff.
      • Caustic Slug no longer affects non-player targets.
      • Since the number of creatures in Blackwing Descent can be highly condensed, they now have a slightly higher chance to drop epic loot.
    • Blackrock Caverns
      • The Evolution aura during Corla's encounter now displays its visual warning on players at 74 stacks, up from 82.
      • Bellows slaves no longer drop elite loot.
    • Mines of Death
      • Shapeshifted characters should now be able to jump rope during the Vanessa VanCleef encounter. Your change will now be automatically canceled. Additionally, players should no longer lose their pets when jumping rope (they will reappear when the player lands after swinging). Note that until the client patch can be applied, an incorrect aura will be displayed whenever classes with pets and characters that can change shapes use the rope. The description for that aura will be "Delicious Aura / Instant / A delicious meal increases haste by 10%" and can be ignored, as the aura does not grant the haste buff. It's an aura of free word association… Enjoy it!
      • The Deadmines on Heroic Difficulty have far fewer creatures.
      • The mechanical nightmare section of the Vanessa VanCleef encounter has fewer sparks of doom and is much easier and faster to navigate.
      • Vapors in the Snarl Rip encounter now increase in power every 8 seconds, up from every 6.
    • Vortex Summit
      • No aura or strange movement is applied when using the Currentstrapper after the death of Grand Vizier Ertan.
      • A summoned pet will be able to be successfully summoned again when using the Currentstroke after Altarius has died.
    • Lost City of the Tol'vir
      • Tamed Tol'vir Marauders now drop normal loot and skinning items instead of epic quality loot.
    • Throne of the Four Winds
      • Al'Akir's Static Shock now deals 5000 damage and only interrupts the spell the player is currently casting. It doesn't block the player and only launches every 5 seconds or so.
  • Objects
    • Darkmoon Card: Giant Wave now correctly triggers Tsunami when casting basic healing over time spells.
  • Careers
    • Alchemy
      • Crafting the four Northrend Flasks (Infinite Wrath, Pure Mojo, Frost Wyrm, and Stoneblood) no longer count toward Master Mixer Guild Achievements or How to Better Level Up by Chemistry.
      • Flasks spawned from the Battle Cauldron and Large Battle Cauldron no longer bind to your soul.
      • Now both boilers last 10 minutes. Please note that the descriptions will not be updated until the next client patch.
      • Large Battle Cauldron now has 20/30 charges up from 17/25. Please note that the descriptions will not be updated until the next client patch.
    • Jewelry
      • Shamans could not obtain Sketch: Figurine: Demon Panther, from the Looters of Neferset. This has been corrected.
    • Engineering
      • Now all eight engineering discoveries are available to learn by creating the defeated chicken crusher at the highest engineering level.
      • Invisibility Field no longer causes the Blind unwanted effect. Additionally, the Invisibility Field effect no longer continues inside arenas and cannot be used in arenas.
    • Fishing
      • Giant Catfish now sting more often and Hardened Walleye less often in corresponding Daily Quests.
    • Skinning
      • Dragonkin on Grim Batol can now skin themselves.
      • Creatures can no longer be skinned more than once.
  • Missions and creatures
    • Tol barad
      • The spawn rate in Tol Barad's three mini quest dungeons has been adjusted to a much more reasonable level. This should alleviate the issues players were having as a result of creatures spawning too quickly.
      • The prisoner from Farson Keep that you have to escort in the mission "Put yourself in his shoes for a while" no longer engages players of the opposing faction.
      • The number of guard appearances has been increased for both Horde and Alliance camps, now with guards around the boundaries of each camp. Both Alliance and Horde guards use all of the abilities the Raging Hyjal Guardian uses and will attack with ranged abilities when unable to find a path or at a distance. Guards are also immune to taunt effects. Additionally, Hellscream and Baradin's guards now respawn more quickly.
      • The northern cemeteries of the Tol Barad peninsula of each faction, have been moved away from each other to reduce the fantastic camp.
      • Spiny tidal crawlers and darkwood hatchlings now appear as non-aggressive (yellow).
      • Incarcerated workers now have a lower threat radius. They also drop module rations for those players who are on the mission "Food From Below".
      • Baradin's Crocolisk can be flayed without problems, and the Crocolisk Hide, used in the quest "Swamp Bait," is no longer a multiple loot item.
      • The missions "The Wreckage", "Swamp Bait" and "A Huge Trouble" can now be shared in the Alliance and both Horde and Alliance versions give high reputation and gold.
      • Tank and Problim are now fully immune to all crowd control effects.
    • Twilight Highlands
      • If, after 60 seconds, no reinforcements are called; Skullcrusher the Mountain will not disappear. When calling for reinforcements, Skullsmasher no longer incorrectly disappears.
    • Uldum
      • Ramkahen Guardians now properly melee attack, throw nets to stop characters, and use blocking shots with their bows when unable to reach the enemy.
    • Dalaran
      • The air rifle and air rifle pellets are now part of the Jepetto Playreta seller list and can be obtained for the price indicated.
    • mulgore
      • Kruban Darkside now appears above the ground and prowls Orgrimmar normally while Darkmoon Faire is active.
    • Uldum
      • The desert fox is now marked "Untamed" when beast lore is cast on the creature.
