It seems that Blizzard had an "Ace" up its sleeve, and patch 6.2.3 is coming soon. When many of us already thought that all the Warlords content had concluded, they announced the arrival of this patch to the PTRs.

New Timewalking Reward

You will now have a chance to get a rare Infinite Flight mount from any of the Timewalking bosses.

Summary of What's New in Patch 6.2.3

One of the most common requests we've gotten since we introduced Timewalking has been to get an Infinite Flight mount, as it fits perfectly into the concept of time manipulation, as well as being pretty cool. And we agree. Inspired by Murozond, the Infinite Time Reaver the final boss of the End of Days dungeon that is in the Cataclysm Timewalking rotation This will be a rare reward that can be awarded by any dungeon boss during all Timewalking events.

Mythical bands between kingdoms

In Patch 6.2.3 it will be possible to complete a raid on Mythic difficulty with players from different kingdoms, facilitating the possibility of completing the 20 players required for this type of raid.

Valor points return

In patch 6.2.3 Valor points are returned as a bargaining chip, we will obtain it by completing heroic and mythic dungeons during the weekly bonus events and with the first attempt at raid finder of the week. In addition, we will be able to upgrade our team up to 10 item levels at the closest ethereal vendor.

Dungeon content excels when its difficulty is appropriate for the player's power level, so Mythic Dungeons will be the most lucrative source of value for players who own items from Tanaan or Hellfire Citadel. For those still equipping themselves to tackle Mythic dungeons or prefer to use queued matchmaking, the Raid Finder's Wings and the first Heroic Dungeon of each day also add value, as do most of the Weekly Event Quests in the seer Kazal. The Ethereal Voidbinders have made their way through time and space to Stormshield and Warspear, and have also returned to Orgrimmar and Stormwind to allow players to use their valor and upgrade their items by up to 10 levels. We have opted for item upgrades over a value vendor because item upgrades offer a power that complements items from other sources, rather than competing with them.

New Grove Warden Mount

Defeating Archimonde on Heroic Difficulty or higher now grants a Shard of Dark Power that starts a quest; completing it will grant us the new mount Grove Warden. This mission, and the mount, will be available for a limited time, it will be retired before Legion's launch, probably in the pre-patch, just as it has been in previous expansions with the mounts obtained in the last bosses.

Summary of What's New in Patch 6.2.3

Item level increase

The Mythic dungeons will reward with items up to 725 and the possibility of finding as loot a new relic that can be adjusted up to level 110, the Torvos items will be up to 695.

Entering a dungeon is more exciting if you can get a direct item upgrade instead of a predictable amount of coins each round. That's why we're expanding the power of Mythic Dungeon War-Forged Items. Instead of a static bonus of +20 item levels when a mythic dungeon item is warforged, there will be a chance to get an even greater power boost. Luckier players could earn item level 725 versions of the dungeon rewards, with options increasing at levels 720, 715 and beyond, covering the entire range from 685 to 725, in increments of five. object levels. We're also applying this system to Tanaan's grim items, which can now range from item level 655 to level 695. Raids, professions, and PvP will continue to be the most reliable sources for the best gear, but we wanted it to exist. the possibility of being surprised when going on adventures around the world or in dungeons.

Arenas Season 3

The arrival of Patch 6.2.3 will also transition between Season 2 and Season 3 of Warlords of Draenor and the corresponding awards ceremony.

With Season 3 of the Arenas we will introduce new teams, including the PvP level 715 Warmongering Aspirant, the Level 730 Warmongering Combatant, and the Level 740 Warmongering Gladiator.

Opinion

When we already thought that the content of this expansion had finished, Blizzard surprises us with the arrival of a new patch. It is true that it does not come full of content but it does come with a varied amount of rewards that will encourage us to participate in the weekly events. Of course I want the Draco of Infinite Flight!

The item level increase will make it easier or helpful for many guilds to take a long step forward or even overcome otherwise difficult Mythic Difficulty bosses. We must bear in mind that the item level of the Mythic Dungeons is significantly higher than that obtained in Heroic Hellfire Citadel, which will be a great help when it comes to improving our equipment in the face of the new Mythic difficulty.
