Tonight we will have the chance to test the Mythic difficulty of various bosses from the new Blackrock Foundry raid. Once the tests are finished, the Rescoldos wing of the Band Finder will remain open. It is a good opportunity to see the new content.

Today we will be testing two mythical encounters from the Blackrock Foundry: Gruul and Hans'gar / Franzok. When testing for those two encounters is over, we will open the Rescoldos wing in Raid Finder over the weekend. This should conclude the tests of the Blackrock Foundry in 6.1. The band is a 6.0.3 feature and will be available on live servers next week, but testing it at the 6.1 PTR gives us some very useful data for tweaks. In addition, players have the opportunity to enter the PTR to test other features along with the general stability of patch 6.1.
As always, for a PTR, there may be gameplay or technical issues that interfere with testing. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.
Mythic difficulty is designed for a group of 20 players (fixed size). All participants must belong to the same RPP server
Each encounter should be available at approximately the times listed below on all PTR servers, for an hour or so.

As always, this test schedule is very elastic and subject to the needs of the test environment. Q: How do I get to the gang zone?
R: In Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and your Garrison, you can speak to Nexus Lord Donjon Rade to teleport to the Raid Zone when it is open for testing. (It will not be possible to teleport to an area that is not open for testing.) Note that new teleportation NPC locations have been added in other capitals of the expansion, as well as near the portals area in Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Q: What character should I use to test the band?
R: The one you prefere. We're increasing players' operational level for raid testing to 100, and their item level will be at the appropriate threshold for testing encounters.
Q: How long do the tests last?
R: The main objective of these tests is to obtain the information necessary to balance the matches, evaluate the performance of the mechanics in practice and detect errors. When we are satisfied with the data obtained from a given boss, we will close the tests. We usually take between 45 minutes and 2 hours, but the duration can vary.
