Finally! An answer to a question that many of you are asking about the Minichat and even in the odd email. Bornakk has revealed the mystery and informs us that Season 7 of Arenas will come to an end on January 19:
We are planning to end Season 7 of Arenas on January 19. At this point we will use our normal process to determine who is eligible for end of season rewards. This process should take about a week. It is very important that players who believe they may be eligible for specific arena titles and / or Relentless Gladiator's Frost Wyrm avoid transferring their characters to another realm until the end of Arena Season 7.
The next Arena Season will not start until at least one week after the current season ends. During this time between seasons, all rated games will be deactivated and only skirmishes will be allowed. When Arena Season 8 begins, all personal, team ratings, and arena points will be lost, but honor points and encounter ratings will remain.
