2,200 rating PvP weapon arrival delay

As previously announced, Conquest items that required 2,200 index points are available today, January 25, with the exception of weapons. We plan to make the weapons available approximately two weeks after the release of Patch 4.0.6.

The decision to delay the availability of weapons that require 2,200 indexes has not been made lightly. Few Guilds are currently making PvE content where weapons of that caliber can be obtained which would make rated Battlegrounds and Arenas the main focus of the best weapons. Of course, we don't want players battling PvE content to feel like they have to do a lot of PvP to obtain those weapons to be competitive or successful.

We have plans to help avoid similar situations in the future and will provide more details when they become available.

Sometimes you have to make an unpopular decision and you get a lot of complaints about it. I understand that you are not happy and I am sorry for that.

Regarding weapon delay, as with any other change that affects your playstyle, we always prefer to give the news in advance whenever possible, but in some situations it is not an option. Unfortunately, this was one of those cases.

Some of you may now say that there were times in the past when it was common for the Arenas to be overflowing with players equipped with raid gear, exclusively to acquire weapons to help them advance PvE content. That's not the design we're looking for for arena rewards (they are part of the PvE progression) and it was a situation we hoped to avoid now. The raid content is quite challenging right now and as a direct result, there are fewer high-end weapons floating around. What we didn't want was a "gold rush" in the arenas, which would have blurred the competitive space as well as giving PvE players an undue advantage for raid content.

Ultimately, what we really want is weapon availability parity in PvP and PvE. We want to see the best items for PvP and PvE seep into the player community more or less at the same time. This delay is an effort to achieve the aforementioned parity in this case.

Nerf the Paladin in the latest update? Not! It's a buff!

Well more or less. We discovered that Conviction (which can give you up to a 9% healing bonus) was broken. It affected the Paladin's own heals but did not heal other targets. Considering we think Paladins healing is pretty good, we didn't want 9% out there. We have fixed Conviction and reduced the Sacred Passive, Path of Light, from 15% to 10%. Which ends up being a 4% profit in the end, assuming Conviction has almost 100% activation time, which is not unreasonable either.

Since we applied a live fix to Path of Light, the info window will not be updated until patch 4.0.6.

Tabard Storage

Ok, seriously… I have about 30 tabards and it takes up quite a bit of space on my bench, could we have a "Tabard Tab" in the bench that we can buy for 1,000 gold and then put all the tabards there? because this is ridiculous

It's something we've been looking at for quite some time, and we're confident that we'll be able to implement a feature at some point in the future that allows players a better storage solution for their tabards. We're not sure if this feature will be a cosmetic tab or a title-like drop-down list yet; There are several factors that we have to consider carefully (some tabards have wearable abilities, for example, which makes storing them more difficult) before we can make the best decision.

A 75-hole tabard bag and bench hole doesn't sound much more complicated than a 32-hole miner's bag.

Is that really the most elegant solution? It might be the fastest and the simplest, but that doesn't mean there aren't any better alternatives available. If we can implement a storage type that integrates with the character's user interface and does not take up space from the bank, that would be the ideal solution.

That option might not be technically possible due to the way some tabards work but is something we are investigating.

You mean an appearance tab for equipment cosmetic options?

No, but I can see the confusion. I want to refer to an additional tab that is superficial or non-essential (the literal definition of "cosmetic").

For this, give us a huge hole in the bank or an equivalent to the keychain and then start doing something potentially more complex if you want.

We're not trying to complicate matters too much, but if we're thinking of adding a new feature, we want to make sure it makes sense and is appropriate for the game in the long run. (Or, you know, at least give it a try.)

We're considering a variety of options right now because we agree that tabard storage would be great and some of those options extend beyond just adding another hole in the bench - not because it's complex but because we think they'll have more. sense and fit better into the game.

Exactly this. I hope Blizzard starts to recognize it

We are not against interim solutions in principle, especially if we think it is worth it. It's just that we have to be careful and always consider what happens to those "substitutes" once the final product is put into production.
