Additional class changes

From the official blog and on behalf of the Community Manager EU Arendelium, New additional class changes are coming from patch 7.2. Also, this article covers some interesting clarifications on how artifact power gain will affect damage and health.

Additional patch 7.2 class changes

Classes

  • The damage bonus that tanks and Discipline Priests gain per artifact point spent has been increased to 0,65 (from 0,5%); for other healers, the bonus has been increased to 1,3% (from 1%).

Druid

  • Feral Druids now deal 4% more damage with Scratch, Shred, Swipe, Thrash, Brutal Slash, Moonfire, Ferocious Bite, Ashmane Frenzy, and Rip.

Monk

  • Windwalker Monks now deal 8% increased damage with Tiger Palm, Dark Kick, and Rising Sun Kick.

Sorcerer

  • Ulthalesh now has a fairly high chance to spawn 3 tormented souls at the start of the raid encounter.

This patch also includes a number of additional PvP adjustments:

PvP

Demon Hunter

Devastation

  • Nemesis duration in PvP reduced to 15 seconds.
  • Chaos Strike damage and Annihilation damage reduced by 15% in PvP.

Revenge

  • Vengeance no longer deals 10% less damage in PvP.

Druid

Equilibrio

  • Enemy players can now see Starfall's radius of effect when active.
  • Moonfire, Sunfire, and Starfall now deal 50% less periodic damage to targets.
  • Solar Wrath now deals 40% more damage to targets.
  • Shooting Stars grants 2. Astral Power to targets (previously granted 4)
  • Starfall restores 3. Astral Power (previously restored 8).
  • Intellect increased by 15%.

Feral

  • Phlebotomist's Weakness increases your damage dealt to the target by 15% in PvP.

Restaurants

  • Wild Growth cast by Overgrowth now only applies to the initial target.

Hunter

Survival

  • Diamond Ice no longer prevents the use of Ice Block and Divine Shield.

Wizard

Arcane

  • Intellect reduced by 5%.

Frost

  • Concentrated Freshness now increases Frozen Orb damage by 225% (up from 250%).

Monk

Brewmaster

  • Brewmaster no longer deals 10% less damage in PvP.

Mist weaver

  • The Mistweavers' Fortifying Elixir has been renamed the Fortifying Brew.
  • The mana cost of the Ancient Mistweaver Arts version of Comforting Mist has been reduced by 25%.
  • Mana regeneration increased by 5%.

Paladin

Rebuke

Lawbringer no longer deals damage to targets under crowd control effects that cancel on taking damage.

Priest

Shades

  • Intellect increased by 5%.
  • Insanity Buff now provides a 20% damage increase upon reaching 100. of insanity and not being in Void Form.
  • Insanity Buff now triggers above 65. of insanity when using the Legacy of the Void talent.
  • The evil psychic can no longer be targeted using macros.

Guerrero

Protection

  • Mass Spell Reflection now grants 30% spell damage reduction while active.

Sorcerer

Affliction

  • PvP Template Intellect increased by 5%.

Demonology

  • Doom damage reduced by 15% in PvP.

Destruction

  • Fel Fissure duration reduced to 6 seconds (from 15 seconds).

You will see these changes reflected in the official patch notes, which will be released on Monday.

We are also making changes to the way your damage and health increase as you spend points on your artifact: the damage bonus per scored point will stop at the 52nd point scored, and the health bonus will decrease from of the 53rd point obtained.
