Performance improvements

Blizzard continues to work on making the game more optimal. To this day, there are very many complaints about lag that affects the Spanish kingdoms and that makes it difficult, in many cases, to maintain an acceptable gaming experience. Nazamur tells us about some of the measures they are taking, and that are to come in Patch 3.1.

After the deactivation of the Voice Chat, about which you can read more here ( http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=8523023738&sid=4 ), we wanted to provide you with an update on our ongoing work to improve performance. Realms performance is one of our top priorities in supporting the World of Warcraft service and you, the players.

We work continuously to be able to identify which elements of the game can impact on the performance of the same and the improvements that can be introduced without compromising the gameplay or other aspects. In the same way that we did with the Voice Chat (see link) we will inform you when this process affects the game experience.

During this week we have implemented optimizations and we have identified and resolved an issue with Voice Chat. Without the intention of raising much expectation, we wanted to share these news with you so we can continue to collect performance information for the next few days in this thread.

Looking Ahead, Patch 3.1, The Secrets of Ulduar, which is scheduled to be released in a few weeks, apart from all the new content and adjustments to the gameplay, also contains changes aimed at improving performance, for example in The Lake Conquest of Winter. In the same way we are making adjustments to the systems essential for the functionality and performance of the Realms. Although we can only evaluate the effect of these changes once they are applied live.

We want to express our gratitude for all the game and performance information that you have provided us thus far and we ask that you continue to send it back. Although each piece of information separately only shows part of the bigger picture (and is difficult, if not impossible, to solve individually), together they provide us with a clear picture that provides us with invaluable information to aid us in our continuing efforts to make World of Warcraft the best possible experience.
