PvP has evolved in World of Warcraft, We have been able to check a little of these changes in the pre-patch and without a doubt in Legion there are more changes.

The most notable novelty that we have been able to verify are the PvP predefined stats, with which blizzard configures our classes to have base stats and default skill performance turning PvP into something more balanced, right and outside the PvE.

One of the missed goals is to show these changes in stats and abilities within the game. The original idea was to show through the game interface the numbers and changes that modify our character. For starters, all characters entering a PvP instance have a basic stat template that adjusts to an item level. For simplicity, we will now focus on the level 110 values ​​that are assigned to players with an item level of 850. From our experience with the beta, we found the damage rate compared to health to be a bit high as well. that this set of values ​​has lower primary stats and slightly more stamina than someone with a level 850 gear.

Main stat (Agility, Intellect, Strength): 11475
Secondary stat (Mastery, Critical Strike, Haste, Versatility): 4079
Stamina: 22000

These stats are adjusted up or down for each spec using a multiplier that defaults to 1,0 (or 100%). For example, casters (such as wizards and warlocks) and healers do not benefit from the damage values ​​of their weapons, so the extra primary stat is assigned to weapons throughout the game. Similarly, all caster classes have a primary stat multiplier of 1,55 in PvP. This represents a 55% increase in Intellect for these specs.

We also have an aura called "Modify Damage Dealt" for all PvP templates, for when we want to reduce the damage, but not the main stat. Those who benefit the most from this aura are healers. We may want to improve a Restoration shaman's healing, but we don't want their lava blasts to wipe out everything. At this time, all healers have deal 25% less damage to other players. Discipline Priests are the only exception, as dealing damage is part of their way of healing.

In addition, we can increase or decrease the effect of individual spells in PvP battles. This includes PvP stays like battlegrounds and arenas, but also world PvP and duels. If we want to halve the healing from Death Strike in PvP, we set the PvP multiplier for that effect to 0,5.
