Sixth Round of Open Developer Questions and Answers - Brotherhoods

After a week of hiatus, in which I mistakenly assumed they were ending the initiative, Blizzard is back with… Ask the developers! This time the questions are about the guild system. It is a good opportunity without a doubt to ask them your concerns with the guilds, perhaps about the levels or about the transfers recently announced.

Since it is a global event, we leave you the addresses in the forums where you can ask your questions:

Here are the rest of the questions and answers posted to date:

  1. General
  2. PvP / PvP
  3. User interface
  4. Weapons
  5. Weapons and Armor
  6. Achievements

After the jump, you have the complete announcement made by Katriedna.

Welcome to Global Questions for World of Warcraft Developers. In this thread we will collect your questions for the developers to answer. We will ask you for your questions each time we upload a new Q&A thread, the community will have a chance to vote, and the responses we receive will be posted about a week later.

This week's topic is: Brotherhood Progress.

STATUS: QUESTIONS. Ask your question.

Is that how it works:

  • As of the time this thread is posted, you can ask your World of Warcraft questions to the developers.
  • At around 9:30 am CET on Tuesday mornings, we will reply to say that no more questions are accepted and those that are published from that moment on will be ignored.
  • If the thread reaches the maximum of 500 messages, no more questions will be allowed.
  • We will then ask you to use the Like button to vote on the questions that you would like to receive an answer to. (We kindly ask you to only vote on questions that have been received before the deadline).
  • Around 17:00 p.m. on Tuesday, we will close the thread, which means that you will no longer be able to vote.
  • We will collect the posts with the most votes, compile a compilation with questions from other regions, and post the responses the following week.
  • The process will go ahead and we will upload a new question thread (if nothing is preventing it) and post the answers to the above questions shortly thereafter.

Rules

  • Only one question per message.
  • If your question is answered, your character's name will be posted next to the question.
  • Messages other than questions are not allowed! If you have no questions for our developers, please do not post in this thread.
  • Once the "no more questions allowed" message is posted, please do not post any additional messages and just vote on your favorite questions.
  • As long as the thread is not closed, you can vote at any time.
  • Just because a message gets a lot of votes does not mean that it has a guaranteed answer, but we will do everything in our power to answer as many questions as possible.
  • Negative votes do not count.

Tips

  • Do not post or vote on questions that you know we will not answer. We do not intend to use these questions and answers to announce new features, expansions, release dates, etc. For the same reason, we will not answer questions that have to do with issues outside the game and its design.
  • Focus on the topic! We ask you questions about a specific topic, if your question does not refer to that topic, it is possible that it will be downvoted and become invisible to other users, and probably deleted by us.
  • You can ask about any design aspect related to the game! It is true that class design is the most popular topic, but we will do our best to answer questions no matter what topic they cover.
  • Ask concise questions. Between one and three sentences should be enough to give some background and develop the question.
  • Vote all the questions you want answered.
  • All votes count. Although you cannot see the number of votes, we can. Even if a message has a lot of votes, yours can still be important in getting that question (potentially) answered.
