Brotherhood Name Change and Transfer Services Coming Soon

Transferring a kingdom brotherhood has been something that has always been hard for the entire brotherhood. It could involve losses of gold, materials, and establishing ranges and structures to leave them in a similar way to the previous one was certainly something really tedious.

If we add the guild reputation system to this equation, we better not talk. It seems that Blizzard has finally realized the problem, and plans to introduce a new service as Nethaera has announced on the official World of Warcraft forums.

We want to give everyone an early notice of our plans to implement a guild relocation service for World of Warcraft. The idea is that a Guild Master can transfer a guild to another realm. The structure remains intact, including the leader, bank, ranks and name of the brotherhood (depending on availability).

Guild members who decide to relocate with their guild can initiate their own paid transfer. Upon a successful transfer, they will automatically become part of the guild when they enter their new realm. Your guild rank and reputation will remain intact.

Leaders who do not want to change scenery can also decide to change the name of a guild using another new service. These services are under development and we will provide more details at some future point in time.

As with all the services and features we offer, we intend to incorporate the sorority relocation service in a way that does not disrupt the gaming experience. Please note that this feature will require extensive internal testing, so you may see bits and pieces of the service appear in the public testing realms. More details will be announced at http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/.

What do you think of this system? Who plans to change the name of your brotherhood?
