Cataclysm launch events in Madrid

Cataclysm is approaching slowly but surely. December 7 is the date chosen for the start of the launch of the most ambitious expansion of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Blizzard wants to do something big and on December 6 we will have the opportunity to have an event in our country, in Madrid.

It will be at 20:00 in Fnac de Preciados and we will have the assistance of:

  • Cory Stockton - Lead Content Designer
  • Rob Sevilla - 3D Illustrator

Who knows if members of the Spanish WoW Community team will join the party!

Join us on the evening of December 6 to celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and be among the first to own the new expansion. Developers from the World of Warcraft team will be at the event to sign copies and chat with players; In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in organized activities and win great prizes. Take a look at the calendar and place of the events.

Costume contest- All launch events in Europe will feature an in-game costume contest, awarding fantastic prizes to the winners. All selected participants will have priority when entering the event, so do not hesitate to prepare your costume. More details on this page soon.

Are you going to dress up? After the jump you have the rules!

Do you want to participate in the costume contest? It's important to remember:

  • Two false elf ears are not a costume!
If you want to participate, make sure you have a full costume and not just a couple of pieces of Azerothian paraphernalia. A knight in a suit with a face painted orc green doesn't sneak in.
  • Safety first
While stilts may seem like a great idea, events will take place in places with stairs, ramps, etc., so no similar items should be included in your costume. As a general rule, you should be able to walk normally, safely and without receiving help.
  • Size Matters
Because we have limited space at these events, we must ask participants to reduce the size of their costumes for this contest. Please avoid oversized costumes with frames and bulky items.
  • Real but fake
Azeroth is teeming with dangerous creatures, but our events are completely safe so we must avoid carrying real weapons. Please make sure that all your weapons are soft toys made of rubber, cardboard, etc.
  • Choice of staff
Finally, the event staff reserves the authority to deny entry to the contest. Please be respectful of their decisions as their ultimate goal is to ensure the fun of all attendees.
  • It is important to note that there will not be any space reserved to change clothes at the event.
We will have more information on how to enter the contest later. Thank you very much and see you there!

If you are going to dress up, don't forget to send us a photo (if you want) to mailbox@guiaswow.com
