Cataclysm: Official Preview on Twilight Highlands

Blizzard has released their official trailer for one of Cataclysm's new zones: The Twilight Highlands!

Few places on Azeroth represent this philosophy better than the Twilight Highlands in the Eastern Kingdoms.

The Highlands have throughout their history been a hotbed of constant turmoil that has seen prosperity, failure, and incessant change of races and factions. The fortress-city of Grim Batol has hosted no less than three powerful factions: the Wildhammer dwarves, who left their home after a Dark Iron curse rendered it uninhabitable; the Red Flight, who was forced to fight for the Horde under the yoke of the Dragonmaw orcs during the Second War; and, of course, the Dragonmaw themselves, who were expelled from Grim Batol when the Red Flight was at last released from captivity.

The Dragonmaw now stand on the edge of the Highlands. They are no less savage and difficult to deal with than when they ruled Grim Batol, but their knowledge of dragons and the art of war is of unquestionable importance, especially amid the chaos of the cataclysm. Wildhammer dwarves dwell in forest outposts among the Highland mountains. Although they have long been friendly with the Alliance, they only recently considered trying their luck with Stormwind and Ironforge because of the pleas of their cousins, the Bronzebeard clan. Even the mighty Red Dragonflight has suffered greatly in recent months: a Blackflight with renewed aggressiveness has decimated its members with constant attacks from the petrified Obsidian Forest.
