Vengeance is the tank specialization of the demon hunter. Being a new class it is subject to many changes until it finds the right balance and playability.

Demon Hunter Vengeance uses "Pain" as a secondary resource. It is generated by active abilities and consumed by other abilities as well.

Skills

In legion

  • consume magic - Magic consumption: Interrupt the enemy's spellcasting and prevent them from casting spells of the same school for 3 seconds.
  • shear  - Cut: You deal physical damage and have a small chance to break a minor soul fragment on your target, healing you for 10% of your health when consumed. Generate 10 points of Pain.
  • hell strike - Infernal blow: Leap into the air to a targeted location, striking with destructive force, dealing fire damage to all enemies within 6 feet.
  • Immolation Aura - Immolation Aura: You are imbued with flames, instantly dealing 7.335 Fire damage to all enemies within 8 meters and 1671 Fire damage every second. It lasts 6 seconds and generates 20 Pain points in its duration.
  • Throw Glaive - Throw glaive: Throw a demonic glaive at the target, dealing physical damage. The glaive can bounce off 2 additional enemies within 10 yards. It generates great threat.
  • Fiery brand - Fiery mark: Marks your target with a fiery demonic symbol, instantly dealing 26.744 points of Fire damage and reducing the damage you take from it by 40% for 8 seconds.
  • Metamorphosis - Metamorphosis: Transform into a demon for 20 seconds, increasing your current and maximum health by 30%. You generate 10 Pain points every 1 second.
  • Glide - Plan -: Slow down your falling speed. You can activate this ability with the jump key while falling.
  • Gateway: The Felhammer - Portal to the Fel Hammer: Teleports the caster to the Fel Hammer. If cast while in Felhammer it will bring you back to where you started.
  • Demon spikes - Demon spikes: Active mitigation. Overload yourself with Fel Energy, increasing your Parry chance by 20% and reducing Physical damage taken by 31% for 6 seconds.
  • Soul cleave - Slit soul: A cruel blow that deals physical damage to all enemies in front of you and consumes a portion of their souls to heal you for 10% of your maximum health. Create Soul Shards near the caster (maximum 20 meters).
  • Sigil of Chains - Chain stealth: Places a sigil of chains at the selected location that activates after 2 seconds. Pulls all enemies affected by stealth to its center and slows them, reducing their movement speed by 70% for 6 seconds.
  • Sigil of Fire - Sigil of the Flame: Places a sigil of the flame at the selected location that activates after 2 seconds. Deals 18.386 Fire damage and an additional 20.058 Fire damage over 6 seconds to all enemies affected by stealth.
  • Sigil of Silence - Sigil of silence: Places a sigil of the flame at the selected location that activates after 2 seconds. Silence all enemies affected by stealth for 6 seconds.
  • Torment - Tormento: Taunts the target to attack you and increases the threat you generate against them for 3 seconds.
  • Spectral Sight - Spectral vision: Allows you to see enemies and treasures through physical obstacles, even stealth and invisible enemies. Lasts 10 seconds. Attacking or taking damage disrupts vision.
  • Shattered souls - Shattered souls: Passive. Eliminating a target can break their soul, leaving a Soul Shard nearby for 20 seconds. The Soul Shard will consume when you approach it, healing you for 25% of your maximum health. Consuming a Demon Soul Fragment will increase your damage dealt by 20%.
  • Demon Wards - Demonic protections: Passive. Your tattoos reduce magic damage taken by 30%, and increase your Stamina by 20% and your Armor by 200%.
  • Double jump - Double jump: Passive. You can jump again when you reach the climax of your first jump.
  • riposte - Lunge: You gain Parry equal to 100% of the equipment's Critical Hit.

Lv 99

  • felblade - Tainted blade: Charge towards your target and hit them with a flaming blade, dealing Fire damage. Generates 20 Pain.
  • Coming soon:
  • Abyssal Strike - Nether Strike: Increases the range of Hell Strike by 10 yards, and reduces its cooldown by 5 seconds.

Lv 100

  • Dying Flames - Dying flames: Immolation Aura generates an additional 14 Pain points, dealing 100% more damage.
  • Blade turning - Turning blades: Passive. Parrying an attack generates 5 points of Pain.
  • Feast of souls*: Passive. Soul Split heals you for an additional 26.076 health over 6 seconds.

Lv 102

  • burning alive*: Passive. Every 2 seconds, your Fiery Mark deals 3.343 Fire damage and spreads from the initial target to a nearby enemy.
  • Pain tolerance*: Passive. You generate 4 Pain points every second when you are below 20 Pain points.
  • Fracture*: You brutally strike your target for physical damage, and shatter their soul causing a minor Soul Fragment to drop from them.

Lv 104

  • Coming soon:
  • Quickened Sigils*: Passive. All sigils activate 1 second faster, reducing their cooldowns by 5 seconds.
  • Soul rending - Soul tearing: Passive. You gain 100% restitution when Metamorphosis is active.

Lv 106

  • Bathe in flame*: Passive. Reduces the cooldown of Immolation Aura by 3 seconds, and increases its range by 50%.
  • Sigil of Misery - Sigil of Misfortune: You place a Sigil of Misfortune at the targeted location that activates after 2 seconds. All enemies affected by stealth cower in fear causing disorientation for 10 seconds.
  • Soulmate*: Marks a friendly target for 15 seconds. Soul Split heals the marked ally for 10% of their maximum health.

Lv 108

  • Hellgate*: Passive. When you activate Stealth of Flame, you teleport to their location and force all affected enemies to attack you for 6 seconds.
  • Concentrated Sigils*: Passive. All Sigils are placed on your location, and their effect duration is extended by 2 seconds.
  • Razor spikes*: Passive. When Demon Spikes are active, your Physical damage dealt is increased by 25% and your melee attacks slow targets by 50% for 6 seconds.

Lv 110

  • Reveal in Pain*: Passive. Heal you for 20% of the Fire damage you deal.
  • Coming soon:
  • Last Resort*: Passive. Taking lethal damage transforms you into your Metamorphosis form, returning 30% of your health. The effect can only occur once every 5 minutes.
