History

Hour of Crepusculo

After shattering the Infinite Flight and retrieving the legendary Dragon Soul, Thrall and his allies must travel to the Temple of the Dragon's Rest and meet with the Green, Red, and Bronze Flights. It will take strenuous efforts to reach their destination, for the Twilight's Hammer has gathered his troops near the temple, and is determined to intercept the Dragon Soul at all costs.

The final phase of this dungeon series takes place in today's Dragonblight, which is under full invasion by the Twilight's Hammer. Players must escort Thrall and the Dragon Soul safely to the Temple of the Dragon's Rest, where the assault on Deathwing will begin. However, the Twilight's Hammer troops are numerous, and their leaders remain strong. The temple assault party is led by a man known to have put his great willpower at the service of the citizens of the Alliance. Now his own will has succumbed, and he prophesies that Deathwing's cataclysmic vision will fall upon Azeroth for life.

Dungeon guide passages

arcurion: The Horde and Alliance's attacks on the Twilight's Hammer have slaughtered many of the cult's fearsome Elemental Ascendants. Arcurion is an exception in this case, this formidable ascendant of ice has been tasked with assassinating Thrall and recovering the Dragon Soul. Should this corrupted elemental succeed, nothing can stop Deathwing from ushering the Hour of Twilight.

Asira Dawn Killer: At first, the former hitman Asira Solradiant was reluctant to work for the Twilight's Hammer, but the cult's generous payments soon earned her loyalty. Over time, she succumbed to the corrupting influence of her dark bosses, leading her even to take the name Assassin Albas. As one of the cult's deadliest assassins, she has been summoned to participate in the extermination of Thrall and his comrades.

Archbishop Benedictus: Archbishop Benedictus is the revered leader of the Church of the Holy Light. For years his wise advice has been a vital help in helping humanity through dark times. But beyond his apparent benevolence lies a terrible reality, as Benedictus has promised himself that he will eradicate all life from Azeroth with the help of his dark master ... Deathwing.

This world has already lost too many good people. While some of the Azerothians have found themselves betrayed at the hands of their trusted leaders and advisers, others have betrayed their own ideals and morals to pursue a greater, albeit evil, cause. The moment has come. You must act as ministers of war on behalf of the Aspect dragons; You must fight future echoes of the most powerful leaders of the present, disrupt ancient armies of the Highborne and the Burning Legion, and risk your own lives to ensure that Twilight's Hammer does not intercept Thrall's most coveted possession. Your mission will take you beyond the limits of time. You will see the fate Deathwing wishes for Azeroth, a fate that even he will not survive. You will witness the event that started the world's first split, 10.000 years before the Cataclysm.

You will have to go through all these tests to bring back into existence something that might seem like a simple record ... an object that, despite the passage of time, has never been forgotten. This is where the ultimate showdown against Deathwing begins.

This is a guide for The Hour of Twilight, one of the new dungeons added in patch 4.3. Please note that the video was recorded when the dungeon was opened in the Test Realms (PTR), and certain details about the encounters may change in the future.

The Hour of Twilight is an NPC-led dungeon, a review of the dungeons from the Wrath of the Lich King patch leading up to the introduction of the Lich King. We will follow Thrall throughout the dungeon with some dragons, fighting with all the groups of subordinates and 3 bosses in the course of it. It's quick, simple, and easy, but don't forget to talk to Thrall whenever possible, as the dungeon will not progress if you leave it behind.

After entering the dungeon and talking to Thrall, you will encounter a group of ice elementals just before you face your first boss, Arcurion. As soon as you start the battle, minions will appear on the ledges surrounding the canyon where you will meet and throw stones at random party members. Thrall will take care of the minions, while the group has to move the rocks quickly while killing the boss.

From time to time, Acurion will put Chains of Frost on all party members, which can be dispelled so they can keep moving the rocks. A little further into the fight, Acurion will bury Thrall in an icy Tomb, which must be destroyed to keep all minions at bay. At 30% health, Acurion will begin to channel Frost Torrent, which will damage each party member for 20.000 health every second - You must quickly kill him at this point of the meeting, if necessary use time Defense cooldown to prevent damage from being too strong.

After defeating Acurion, talk to Thrall to proceed to the dungeon. Thrall will take you to Galakron's Rest, where you will face more groups of subordinates and the second boss, Asira Dawnslayer. Thrall will place totems during this part of the dungeon, and the party will need to stay as close to them as possible to receive the health and health buffs they will provide.

Upon reaching the end of the path in this area, Asira Dawnslayer will appear in a dragon and force the start of combat. When engaging in combat with Asira, he will put a debuff called a Mark of Silence on all spellcasters in the party, including the healer. Every time a group member with the disadvantage casts a spell, Asira will throw a dagger in their direction and if any member is hit by that dagger, they will be silenced for 2.5 seconds. Daggers can be interrupted by getting behind a tank or any melee character, it should be necessary to do so.

Asira will also launch Suffocating Smoke Bombs around her, creating clouds of smoke on the ground that will damage whoever is in them and rendering them, including herself, unreachable to spells, so the tank has to get her out of the cloud quickly.

Thrall will assist you during the encounter by placing the same totems that he has been placing on the way to Asira, so whenever possible party members should stay within range of the totems. When Asira's health is low, she will put on a Blade Barrier. To lift it, it must be hit by an attack of more than 30.000 damage, so you should save your cooldowns that provide damage at this time if your group has low overall damage.

After defeating Asira, the dragons will descend and you will make your way to the Temple of the Dragon's Rest once you mount. Talking to Thrall will start the last group of minions. This group is made up of a group of Sinrostro and Tentacles. Members of the ranged damage party will need to kill Tentacles quickly once they spawn, while melee members deal with Faceless.

Once the group is past and inside the Temple, Archbishop Benedictus will wait for you. The bishop has been buffed up a bit and is probably the most difficult encounter in this dungeon (if only because of the number of different spells he's going to cast on you). His first phase lasts for 100% to 60% of his health and at this stage he will only use holy spells.

First, it will add a debuff to a random party member with Righteousness Slash, which deals damage to members near the debuff member and is dissipable, so that it either dissipates or you make the debuff member Quickly get out of range of the other members.

Every now and then, he will summon orbs of light that will focus on a party member and descend towards him, leaving a pool of light on the ground that looks friendly, but will deal 80.000 damage per second to anyone who remains in it. .

Lastly, he will summon a Wave of Virtue that will sweep across the central platform in a random direction. Standing in front of a wave will deal 100.000 damage and stun us, so don't stay in front of them. Thrall will help dispel the members of the party, destroying most of the spheres in the air and summoning Aquatic Shell that will protect all the members that remain in it from the Wave of Virtue.

At 60%, the Archbishop will transform into his shadow form and will continue to do his same abilities, except this time all the damage to be dealt will be shadow and Thrall will not be able to help you with it. This means that the Shadow Orbs will now target three party members and create three puddles on the ground that should not be hovered in, and there will be no Aquatic Shell to protect the Shadow Wave (not that it's hard to avoid from the beggining).

Once defeated, you have already cleared the entire dungeon.
Congratulations! You can even get a terrifyingly ugly cane.

This is a walkthrough for Hour of Twilight, one of the new heroics releasing in patch 4.3. Keep in mind that all the footage in this video was taken just after the dungeon's release on the PTR, and certain details about the encounters may still change in the future.

Hour of Twilight is an NPC-guided instance reminiscent of the dungeons released in late Wrath of the Lich King. You follow Thrall around through Dragonblight, fighting your way through gauntlets of trash and three bosses over the course of it. It's a quick, straightforward and easy instance, just don't forget to talk to Thrall whenever possible, as the instance won't progress if you leave him behind.

After first entering the instance and talking to Thrall, you go through a quick gauntlet of ice elementals before you face your first opponent, Arcurion. As soon as you engage him, minions will spawn on the ledges surrounding the canyon and throw boulders at random party members. Thrall will deal with the minions, and all your party has to do is move from impending boulders while killing the boss.

Occasionally, Arcurion will put chains of ice on all party members, which can be dispelled to allow them to keep moving out of boulders. A little while into the fight, Arcurion will entomb Thrall in an iceblock, which needs to be destroyed to keep the boulders at bay. At 30% health, Arcurion will start channeling Torrent of Frost, which deals 20k Frost Damage each second to every party member - quickly finish him off at this point, and if necessary, use defensive cooldowns to keep the damage at bay.

After defeating him, talk to Thrall to engage the next portion of the instance. He'll lead you to Galakrond's Rest, where you face another gauntlet of trash packs and your second opponent, Asira Dawnslayer. Thrall will put up totems throughout this part of the instance, and as many party members as possible should stand in them to receive a major health and damage buff.

Once you reach the end of the gauntlet, Asira Dawnslayer will appear on a dragon and force you into fighting her. Upon engaging her, Asira will put a debuff called Mark of Silence on all spellcasters in your group, including the healer. Everytime a debuffed party member casts a spell, Asira will throw a dagger their way and should it hit them, they'll be silenced for 2.5 seconds. The daggers can be interrupted by being positioned behind a tank or other melee character, should it be necessary to do so.

She'll also throw red smoke clouds on the ground around her that damage anyone who stands in them and makes anyone in them as well as herself untargetable, so your tank needs to pull her out of the clouds.

Thrall will help during the encounter by putting up the same totems he's been using in the preceding trash gauntlet, so whenever possible, your party members should stand in a totem range. When she's low on health, Asira will put up a Blade Barrier. To lift it, she needs to be hit by an attack that deals more than 30000 damage, so save a cooldown for this if your party has low damage output.

After defeating her, dragons will descend and take your party to Wyrmrest Temple once mounted. Talking to Thrall will initiate the last trash gauntlet in this instance. This gauntlet consists of a bunch of Faceless and Tentacles. Ranged party members should nuke down the Tentacles once they appear whereas melee should concentrate on the Faceless.

Once past the gauntlet and into the Temple, Archbishop Benedictus awaits. The bishop's gone a little powerhungry and is probably the most difficult encounter in this instance - if only for the number of different spells he'll throw at you. His first phase lasts from 100-60% of his health and in this stage he'll only use Holy Spells.

First, he'll debuff a random party member with Righteous Shear, which deals damage to anyone near the debuffed party member and is dispellable; so either dispel it off them or have them stand away from the rest of the group.

Occasionally, he'll summon orbs of light that will focus on a party member and then descend onto them, leaving a puddle of light on the ground that looks treacherously friendly but will dal 80k damage every couple seconds to anyone standing in it.

Lastly, he'll summon a wave of light that will go across the middle platform in a random direction. Standing in one of those will deal 100k damage and knock back, so don't stand in them. Thrall will help by dispelling party members, destroying a majority of the orbs in the air and summoning a water bubble that protects anyone in it from the wave of light.

At 60%, the Archbishop will transition to his shadow form and will continue to do the exact same abilities, except this time they all deal shadow damage and Thrall won't be able to assist with them. That means that the shadow orbs will actually focus three party members and leave three puddles on the ground that can't be stood in, and there'll be no water bubble to protect from the Shadow Wave - not that it was hard to avoid in the first place.

Once defeated, you've cleared the whole instance. Congratulations! You might even have gotten a really terribly ugly staff. {/ tabs}

How do you get access to this dungeon? Well, in the ptr search engine it does not give access, it is blocked.

  2.   Edwin jaraba said

Now what will these dungeons be, will they remove the satharion raid from rest?

  3.   The Sad Ariadna said

    - To access you must complete the first one, «The End of Days».

    - These dungeons represent images of the future / past of Azeroth so their location is in the Caverns of Time. For this reason, the current Dragon Rest Temple remains unscathed and, with it, our little friend Sartharion.
