Engineering Guide 1 - 450

Welcome to Engineering Guide 1-450 that will show you how to quickly and easily climb this profession. Updated to patch 3.2.

For Engineering, the best profession combination is Mining. If you use both, you will save a lot of gold when it comes to raising your level as an Engineer. Especially when you have to use Mithril and Thorium as they are difficult to find and will be sold at auction. You can follow our Mining Guide to make the climb easier.

If you do not have Mining, you will have to buy the materials and you will need a good amount of gold. Despite not being cheaper, the fastest method is buying everything at Auction.

Some items are unique to that branch and others can be used by both. Fortunately, most are compatible with the other specialization.
