Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

Aloha! A small review with images to the winks of movies, series, characters, etc ... in the universe of World of Warcraft, part II

Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

Ash'katzuum / Ash Ketchum and Pokemon

Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

We started with a wink that appeared with the 3rd Season of the Brawlers in Legion. The wink in question is the npc Ash'katzuum to Ash Ketchum, from the world-famous series Pokemón.

In combat Ash'katzuum it was very peculiar: it did not move and had a single attack, I choose you, which apart from being another nod to the series since it threw all its pets at you was quite powerful: if you did not have your character well equipped it kills you with one touch.

Unfortunately this meeting is no longer available and it is not known if in the following season he will do his thing again, let's hope so!

Roscoe y Rachel / Ross and Rachel from Friends

Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

Roscoe y Rachel are another nod to the characters Ross and Rachel from the Friends series.

Since the beginning of Legion, this wink has been found on the 1st floor of the Dalaran tavern "Sleight of Hand Hall". Both are face to face having a coffee on sofas, as in the series itself. Unfortunately they do not have any movement, interaction or dialogue, leaving something odd.

D-1000 / T-1000 from Terminator 2

Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

For my taste, one of the best winks in Warcraft.

D-1000 it's part of the mission Durnholde's Challenge: D-1000 which takes place at Durnholde Castle in Hillsbrad Foothills. This Npc attacks you transforming into different species: ogron, dragon, bird, beast, snake, zombie, etc ... Something very similar to the movie since the android T-1000 from Terminator 2 could also do it. Both share the same structure: a liquid metallic substance similar to mercury.

Luckily it is not necessary to play Sarah Connors and T-800 taking it to a foundry and still sweating the fat drop, it was a very tough nut to crack. With a well-fought fight it is yours.

John J Keeshan / John J Rambo

Curiosities of the Wow: Special winks! Part ii

"I can't find his legs! I can't find his legs"

John J. Rambo to Colonel Trautman.

Did you know that ... Rambo in none of his films says the phrase "Colonel, I can't feel my legs", this being an urban legend? Well yes, I'm sorry to tell you. This phrase was from Santiago Urrialde playing a Spanish "Rambo" and was never said by the original. The actual phrase is "I can't find my legs."

But hey, what were we going to. This wink does not have a couple of missions, no. This wink is practically the entire history of the Redridge Mountains map.. Tells us the story of John J Keeshan and his team, from pulling him out of a clandestine tavern brawl to gathering his entire team and ending the threat ravaging Redridge Mountains. A la Rambo, as it should be a wink from him.

The best mission in the chain, without a doubt, is AAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAH !!!, which apart from being one of the best missions on the map John J Keeshan control the cannon of the tank while you drive it while raving and spouting crazy phrases.

A mission that I really recommend you do, the wink is very fun.
