Legion Fishing Guide

fishing guide in legion

Hello everyone, I am Sibê, your Master Fisherman of GuiaswoW. These last few days I have been researching about that wonderful profession that you all love in Legion, so today I bring you exclusively this Fishing Guide in Legion. Keep reading and I'll tell you more.

Unfortunately, there is still not much information in Spanish about Legion fishing and I do not know the terms that Blizzard will adopt to denominate certain objects, fish and abilities. But we can still start to sketch out a little fishing guide. So let's get started!

Legion Fishing Guide

Main fishing nodes

In all expansions we have some fishing nodes from which we catch specific fish, and these tend to be different depending on the areas. I want to make two points first of all: the first is that the fish will no longer be of size nor will they have to be gutted, it will be as it has always been, you catch the fish and cook it; the second is that as I have verified we can fish rare and normal fish in open water.

  • Perch Bank Moss-branch
    • From this bank we will obtain Branquimusgo Perch (Mossgill perch). Is found in Val'Sharah.
    • We can also obtain Drowned thistleleaf (Drowned thistleleaf), which gives us 2 minutes of rare fishing bonus when we use it.
    • In those two minutes I have obtained Thorn Plaice (Thorned Flounder) in open waters of Val'Sharah.
  • Storm Ray Fever
    • From which we will obtain Storm ray (stormray). They're in Stormheim.
    • Here I have also obtained Elk Horn Hook (Moosehorn hook).
  • Montealto Salmon Bank
    • Bank from which we will obtain Montealto Salmon (Highmountain Salmon). As the name indicates, we will find them in Montealto.
  • Cursed Queen School of Fish
    • Bank from which we will fish Cursed Queenfish (Cursed Queenfish). These banks appear in azshara.
  • Runic Scale Koi Bank
    • Bank in which we will fish Runic Scale Koi (Runescale Koi). Indigenous bank of suramar.
  • Black Barracuda Bank
    • Bank from which we will draw Black Barracuda (Black barracuda). Found throughout the maritime territory of Broken Isles.
    • From here I have also taken several Message in a beer bottle (Message in a Beer Bottle), and within them Ax Fish Bait (Axfish Lure).

Catch of the day

I also want to add in this section to the Silver Mackerel (Silver mackerel), this fish is the one that we will most commonly fish in open waters of any part of Broken Isles.

Rare Fishing Banks

There are two additional fishing grounds hidden in plain sight:

  1. Oodelfjisk Banks. From here we will fish oodelfjisk. They're in Stormheim and to see them you will have to use Ancient Vrykull Ring (lasts 5 minutes).
  2. Phantom Queen Fish Banks. We will fish Ghostly queenfish o Ghost Queen Fish (according to my translation). Will have to use Rusty Queenfish Brooch to be able to see these banks in azshara for 5 minutes.

Legion Fishing Achievements

MORE ACHIEVEMENTS! This section will be brief. The achievements that have been included in Legion of this profession are quite rare. In this section I list them.

  1. Legion Aquaculture - Catch 100 normal fish in Legion.
  2. They seem to sting - Catch one of the rare Legion fish listed below.
  3. Pezqueñines no, thanks - Catch all rare Legion fish.
  4. Fishing around the islands - Complete all the fishing missions in the world. (Picture below)
  5. Wish deprivator - Catch the following coins from the Dalaran Fountain in the Broken Isles.

Rare fish in Legion

To achieve the achievement «Pezqueñines no, thanks»We will need to fish all the Legion rares. Next I show you the image so that you can see all the rare fish of Legion. I do not know if they can be fished without the baits that we found fishing. Each of the rares will give us 5 fishing points when returning to the water.

Baits for rares (English)

Since I do not have Wowhead in Spanish and I have not found more than the baits that I comment in the first section, I leave you all the baits that will be in English so that you can take a visual:

Object to attract rare baits: Moosehorn hook

Baits to attract rare fish: Pearlescent conch, Mossgill bait, Salmon lure, Nightmare nightcrawler, Silverscale minnow, Axfish Lure, Demonic Debris, Enchanted Lure, Soggy drakescale, Frost worm, Ravenous fly, Aromatic Murloc Slime

Objects that allow you to see schools of fish hidden with the naked eye: Rusty Queenfish Brooch, Ancient Vrykull Ring.

Next I leave a table of what each object is for, it is in English and I would gladly translate it but my literal translation could vary with the one chosen by the game. As soon as there are databases in Spanish, I will translate more information for you.

Fishing artifact

In Legion, in addition to the many class artifacts, we will have this profession artifact. Know the details in our post about Fishing Artifact in Legion - How to get it.

Fishing mount

I have inquired a bit about this mount, and it does not say how to get it. Will it be with a tiny drop fishing in Broken Isles? I don't know, but it's really cool!

And nothing, so far dear fishermen the preview of fishing in legion. Regards and until next time!

The `mount is obtained on a small island next to Dalaran, to go there you need a stone (I fell in the underworld), once there there is a magician who gives you a fishing quest. The quest itself is to fish for "sunken mana." We must give the sunken mana that we fish to the magician of the islitay and our reputation increases as with the Iron Claw of the Pandaria farm. When you are a faithful Friend, he lets you buy the shark for 100 sunk mana.

    The drop is very low.

    Hello
I am new to wow so I need to get enough things and I have a question about fishing in general that I did not find in forums
The baits and other objects that increase the level of fishing are they really useful (I am fishing 800) when it comes to getting, for example, those items that by throwing them we can fish the rares of the achievement Pezqueñines no (Legion), or the fish necessary for Nat Pagle's quest (Pandaria)?
From already thank you very much

The higher the level of fishing (even if you are at max), the more likely you are to fish better things. Whether it is rare fish, mission fish, + catches, etc ...
