Leatherworking is a profession typically of classes that use Leather or Mail for the objects that are crafted, although this is not mandatory. Furriers make good pieces of gear, and throughout Content Patches they often receive new skins that match new levels of gear.
To climb this profession it is almost essential to use the Skinning although if not, you will have to rummage through your bags of gold and prepare to leave yourself a good fortune in the Auction House.
Sharpen your knife and prepare the rivets to tan the best leathers.

This is the worst part. Can you do Cloak of the Beasts o War cloak if it is cheaper. You could also do Dark Mark Helm but it will be green. There is no other way to go up to 510 and both recipes are yellow. It depends a lot on luck.
Once you reach 510 you will have to buy recipes from vendors in Twilight Highlands.
510-525
You need to be 84 level If you want to reach 525 and you will need to do the first Highlands missions since you will not be able to buy the recipes until you complete the missions.
Horde players will need to speak to Threm Black Hair while the Alliance players will have to talk to Misty Happytime.
Each recipe turns yellow after 5 points so you will have to buy a new one every 5. Each one will give you 2 points. You can use any that you see available although these are the ones we have put.
You will have to invest 30 x Heavy Wild Leather to buy the 3 recipes:
3 x Bloodied Leather Bracers (30 x Heavy Wild Leather30 x Volatile fire)
2 x Bloodied Leather Boots (20 x Heavy Wild Leather20 x Volatile fire)
