Guardian Druid

Druids control the enormous powers of nature
to keep balance and protect life.

Strengths

  • It is one of the specs with the longest endurance.
  • It has numerous active and passive abilities that increase its defense considerably.
  • Its damage is based, for the most part, on area damage abilities.

Talents

Next I will leave you several ways to face your enemies and different ways of developing the encounters, be it massive objectives or encounters with just one objective. As in the previous guide, choose the ones that you like the most or are close to your possibilities.

-Talents in yellow: they can become the best depending on which fights, in this case, they are the best for single-objective encounters.
-Talents in blue: you can choose them in case you do not like the ones that appear in yellow, there will not be much difference in the DPS.
-Talents in green: these talents are the best to do much more damage in areas, that is, encounters with more than three objectives.

  • Level 15: Bristling fur.
  • Level 30: Guttural Roars.
  • Level 45: Affinity with Restoration.
  • Level 60: Mighty Lash.
  • Level 75: Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc.
  • Level 90: Guardian of Elune.
  • Level 100: Rip and tear.

Guardian Druid Talents

lvl 15

  • Brambles: Sharp brambles protect you, absorbing and reflecting a maximum of (0,24% of your attack power) from each attack against you. While Barkskin is active they also deal (21,6% of your attack power) area damage every second.
  • Ruffled fur: Bristles your fur causing you to generate Rage based on damage taken for 8s.
  • Bloody frenzy: Thrashing generates 2 Rage each time it deals damage.

As you can see in the first option, regarding the last guide I have personally chosen Ruffled fur as main since it is a talent focused on survival with respect to singular objectives. Bloody frenzy It will remain in the background as a possible option for encounters with more objectives since, the more objectives are within our reach, the greater the anger we generate.

lvl 30

  • Renewal: Increases Stampede Roar radius by 200% and Crippling Roar radius by 100%. Also reduces the cooldown of Stampede Roar by 50%.
  • Ysera's Gift: Emits a terrifying howl causing all enemies within 10m to cower and become disoriented for the duration. It can be used in all ways.
  • Cenarius Ward: Grants a movement ability that varies according to the form:
    • No shape change
      Fly to an ally's position.
    • Bear shape
Charges at an enemy, immobilizing them for 4 sec.
    • Feline form
Jump behind an enemy and daze them for 3 sec.
    • Form of travel
      Jump forward 20 m.
    • Aquatic form
Increases swim speed by an additional 150% for 5 sec.

For this second branch of talents, Renewal It is the talent that I use especially for meetings where you have to move with real ferocity. However, you can choose the one that best suits your possibilities. Cenarius Ward it is also a good option to switch between targets with speed.

lvl 45

  • Faerie swarm: Increases the range of all your abilities by 5 yards. You also learn:
    • Moonkin Shape
    • Wave of stars
    • Moon strike
  • Massive entanglement: Increases your movement speed by 15%. Your energy regeneration is increased by 35%. You also learn:
    • Grind
    • Scratch
    • Gut
    • Fierce bite
    • Flagellum
  • Typhoon: You gain: Ysera's Gift: Heals you for 3% of your maximum health every 5 sec. If your health is maxed out, it will heal an injured party or raid member instead. You also learn:
    • Rejuvenation
    • Healing Touch
    • Swiftmend

Typhoon It will be our option if we want to maintain a bit of support in the group but the other two talents are also viable.

lvl 60

  • Forest soul: Summons the Spirit of Ursoc, stunning the target for 5 sec. It can be used in all ways.
  • Incarnation: Tree of Life: Roots the target in place for 20 sec and spreads to other nearby enemies. Damage can interrupt the effect. It can be used in all ways.
  • Force of Nature: A violent typhoon strikes targets in front of you within 15 yards, knocking them back and stunning them for 6 sec. It can be used in all ways.

In this branch of talents we will choose the one that best suits our possibilities or way of playing. In my opinion Forest soul it is the one that offers the greatest utility.

lvl 75

  • Disabling roar: Mangle generates 5p. more Rage and deal 25% more damage.
  • Ursol Vortex: An improved bear form that reduces the cooldown of all melee and bellow damage abilities to 1.5s. Also causes smash to hit up to 3 targets and increases armor by 15%. Lasts 30s.
  • Mighty scourge: Your damage has a 7% chance to trigger a free automatic moonfire on that same target. When this happens, the next Moonfire you fire generates 8 Rage and deals 300% more direct damage.

In this branch of talents, the option that I would recommend would be Ursol Vortex since it gives a large margin where you can perform the greatest possible damage. This talent is often used for encounters where multiple targets have to be tank over a long period of time.

Mighty scourge It would, however, be the option that we can choose as an alternative for unique objectives.

lvl 90

  • Heart of the Wild: When you deal damage directly with thrashing, you gain a charge of Earthwarden, reducing the damage of the next automatic attack you take by 30%. You can have up to 3 charges.
  • Cenarius dreamMangle increases the duration of your next Iron Fur by 2s, or increases the healing of your next Frenzy Regeneration by 20%.
  • Nature's Vigil: Reduces the cooldown of Barkskin and Survival Instinct by 33%.

Cenarius dream It gives us significant improvements to our primary damage mitigation and healing, allowing us to better adapt to the encounter as smash enters our primary rotation. So much Heart of the Wild as Nature's Vigil They are well behind this Raid and Dungeon talent.

lvl 100

  • Moment of clarity: While in bear form, Thrash also increases the damage you deal to the target and reduces the damage you take from the target by 2% per application of thrashing.
  • Germination: Summons a beam of light at your location, dealing (90% of your attack power * 8) arcane damage and healing you (300% of your attack power * 8) over 8 seconds.
  • Rampant growth: A devastating blow that consumes 2 stacks of your thrashing on the target. Deals physical damage and reduces the damage you take by 9% for 20 seconds.

In this last talent branch, the one I choose by default is Moment of clarity since it's one less skill to worry about (because I'm that lazy) though it's usually used for multi-target encounters. Rampant growth It should be the default option for single-target encounters.

Artefact

Before attaching the image that will help you to make the best paths in your artifact weapon, I must warn you that at level 110 you will directly unlock Artifact Knowledge at level 41, obtaining an artifact point multiplier of 5.200.000 %. Perhaps it is best to wait at maximum level to worry about the roads and not waste a lot of time in this regard.

Flasks and potions

Practical tips

  • Attempting to maintain a load or more of iron fur while the target is tanking.
  • Use frantic regeneration when we have received a high amount of damage in the last 5s.
  • Be attentive to the guardian buff of elune to grant us more healing or armor duration depending on the situation.
  • Use our reductions like Barkskin or Sleeper's Wrath in times of high damage or in magic damage phases where the Guardian Druid takes more damage by not having magic reduction active.
  • In the most critical moments of the meeting we will use survival instincts if we see it necessary.
  • If we want to spend anger and we are not currently tanking the boss we can use bruise to do a little more damage.
  • Using only moonfire when activating Galactic Guardian or to add to a target that is at long range, the damage without the buff is barely nil.
