  • Damage in area is brutal.
  • In PvP the item level is not so necessary if we know how to use the character.
  • It has damage reductions.
  • It has a lot of mobility.
  • It has effective instant cures.
  • You can swap your form in a variety of ways to give it different roles.
  • It has invisibility.

Weak points

  • It endures, it heals, it annoys, it does indirect damage ... Weak points? Not a joke.

Specialization Talents

In this section of the article I will bring you several ways to face your enemies and different ways to develop encounters, whether they are targets with a lot of health, others with too much cc or even targets with too much damage. Be that as it may, here we will leave you the alternatives and their respective explanations:

  • Level 15: Saber Tooth
  • Level 30: Wild Charge
  • Level 45: Guardian Affinity
  • Level 60: Mighty Scourge
  • Level 75: Incarnation: King of the Jungle
  • Level 90: Brutal Slash
  • Level 100: Moment of Clarity

Feral Talents PvP 8.1.0

lvl 15

  • Predator (Passive effect): Tiger's Fury's cooldown resets if a target dies with one of your Bleed effects active. Additionally, Tiger's Fury lasts an additional 5 seconds.
  • Saber Tooth (Passive Effect): Ferocious Bite deals 20% more damage and increases the duration of Rip on your target by 4 seconds for each combo point spent.
  • Lunar Inspiration (Passive Effect): Moonfire can now be used in Cat Form, generating 1. combo, deals damage based on attack power and costs 30. of energy.

Saber Tooth (Passive Effect) It will be the choice we will choose to do more damage on a target. We must bear in mind that, by having this talent active, the Rip bleeding mark that we add to the enemy will reset its duration to any percentage of health.

Predator (Passive effect) It can be useful if in a very remote case where there were a lot of minions, we threw a thrashing and then we were eliminating them one by one. This option is not very useful.

Lunar Inspiration (Passive Effect) It is a good option if we need to attack targets that do not usually allow us to get close.

lvl 30

Tiger rush It will allow us to flee quickly from certain combats or to reach our companions. We can simply use it to move fast.

If we like to keep life capped and take a lot of damage at certain points in combat, Renewal (Instant / 1.5 min cooldown) it may be the most suitable.

Wild Charge (Instant / 15 sec cooldown)Instead, it grants us several active transformations for each of the druid's active transformations. In the case of the feral, it allows us to jump towards our goal in an instant. Ideal to change targets more comfortably and quickly if the enemy is at a considerable distance

lvl 45

In this situation, we will choose the one that best suits the combat. Guardian Affinity (Adds multiple specific abilities to another spec can allow us greater survivability in combat while Restoration Affinity (Adds multiple specific abilities to another spec) It will allow us to heal our companions at crucial moments.

lvl 60

In this branch, we must choose the best option according to our enemies.

Mighty Lash (Instant / 50 sec cooldown) It is very useful if we blind ourselves to a specific goal (such as a healer can become), Massive Tangle (Instant / 30 sec cooldown) will allow us to flee from our enemies and give us time to heal and Typhoon (Instant / 30 sec cooldown) It is quite useful if we cannot interrupt a launch for whatever reason. Still, it is usually the favorite option especially on maps where it is useful ... you know, throwing people into the abyss.

lvl 75

King of the Jungle Incarnation (Instant / 3 min cooldown)Instead, we can use it to do great burst damage to eliminate a specific target as quickly as possible.

Soul of the Forest (Passive Effect) it can be a good option if we are constantly attacking.

Wild Roar (Instant / 40 energy) This talent is most useful in PvE.

lvl 90

Trail of Blood (Passive Effect) It is a good option to make areas in a fairly constant way.

Brutal Slash (Instant / 12 sec cooldown / 3 charges) is a devastating talent that can be very useful for dealing a massive amount of damage in a very short time. This talent replaces Swipe.

Primal Wrath It is not a bad option if, in addition to making areas, we want to apply Rip to all targets close to the main one.

lvl 100

  • Moment of clarity (Passive effect): Omen of Clarity now triggers 50% more often, stacking up to 2 times, and increases the damage of your next Crush, Thrash, or Brutal Slash Swipe by 15%. Your maximum Energy is increased by 30.
  • Bloody Claws (Passive Effect): Casting Regrowth or Entangling Roots causes your next two melee abilities to deal 25% more damage over the duration.
  • Deadly frenzy: Unleash a raging frenzy and strike 5 claws at the target, inflicting 650 damage. Physical damage plus 4.776. additional bleed damage over 6 seconds. Awards 5 p. combo.

Moment of clarity (Passive effect) It is the best option since it gives us extra free throws that will allow us to do much more burst damage.

Bloody Claws (Passive Effect) It is a good option in PvP since it will boost our next attacks and we will probably constantly use instant healing.

Deadly frenzy it's a pretty useful talent and deals a lot of damage.

Practical tips

  • With this specialization, the most important thing is to keep all the bleeds active on the target.
  • We must begin the encounters with Scratch, keeping in mind that enemies will be stunned if we are in Stealth.
  • By accumulating the five combo points used constantly Grind, we can activate Gut on the enemy. Scratch y Gut they must be active at all times. With the talents mentioned above, we can forget about using Gut over the target.
  • Fierce bite It can be used to reduce the target's maximum health when used, as well as being a high-damage Finisher.
  • It is important to use Thrashing as one more bleeding effect.
  • As agile cats, we have a lot of mobility, as well as abilities to increase our speed of movement, stuns, cuts, heals, snapshots ...
  • Since we have not stopped being druids, we have numerous transformations. In this case, we can also select a secondary branch if, in addition to being feral, we want to do a lot of healing or endure as a bear. Many possibilities!

Useful addons

ElvUI: Addon that modifies your entire interface according to practically everything you want to see.

Bartender4/dominos: Addon to customize action bars, add keyboard shortcuts, etc.

MikScrollingBattleText: Floating text addon of combat, healing, skill damage, etc.

Recount/Skada Damage Meter: Addon to measure dps, healings, damage received ...

EpicMusicPlayer: Addon to listen to personalized music.

Healers Have to Die: this Addon will mark the healers making it much easier to recognize them in combat.

The feral is for them to eliminate the class, in fact no one plays it anymore because it does not have any competitiveness in arenas or bgs rated, and much less, in high end pve, it is disastrous as they have left it. You run out of energy in the middle of the rotation looking at the bar to refresh a feat, it is apart, complex due to the amount of skills it has and half useless, compared to other classes that have a burst and some feats without much complexity To optimize its damage depending on the encounter, the feral swims.
to do aoe with a feral: you go into stealth, scratch, thrash, scourge (you're out of energy) activate tiger fury, keep the wild roar up, and spend combo points on what? Goal attempts? or dowries? If you dowry, all death in nothing because your companions do a burst damage with just hitting 1 button (I speak for example of the magician with the frozen orb, or the demon hunter with the eye beam) you lose damage to the being in time, if Finish off you don't refresh the scratch dowries (which by the way I don't know who put it to cost a third of the energy even taking the talent for the moment of clarity that increases your energy by 30p ..) since the bloody claws …… .. spend a gcd by noses to increase the 2 auctions by 25% ……. I do not understand anything.
This is my experience about the feral, I rerolled from a chami to a feral improvement and now I am playing in balance because if not the only thing I had left was to return with the chami or simply make me heal. Because we no longer go in or talk about the Guardian because that if it hurts next to the warrior. Utility summed up by a run en masse and rest combat that by the way I do not know who has been the wise and enlightened one that made it difficult for him to be reborn as a guardian…. as you can see that the one who put him on raiders or never played with a Druid. I don't know what they are doing with the leveling of classes but it has gotten out of hand.

Hey good! How is everything? I appreciate your comment since you provide a lot of information and it is something that is appreciated. The truth is that with the Feral in this expansion, I have played a lot and, in my case, I do not know very well how to respond to what you have described. Maybe it's just my imagination or maybe I've just been lucky enough to face all my fights but I have not had problems with the feral at any time, and I can assure you because it is my main main. In PVE I am still one of the first without being very equipped and in PvP, the deleteos I do are amazing. In my case, as I said, I don't know if it could be luck because I only get people without hands, but I do a lot of damage and the survival of the specialization is still incredible. However, I understand that sometimes you can feel very useless facing certain enemies, either because of endurance or simply because you are the first to die. Still, I really appreciate your comment and I hope your experience improves soon. All the best!
