From November 1 to 3 in the cemeteries of all capitals the Festival of the Dead is celebrated.
During the event we will have to dance with Catrina so that we become a skeleton and we can obtain the achievement A death party. We will also have to bring a ration of Pan de muerto to the grave of a returned spirit, which can be brought back to this world with a gift of Orange dead flower.
During this this holiday we can get various achievements, toys and objects related to this party.
The mission that will be available during this event is The grateful dead and will reward us with the pet Macabre puppet, a very cool pet to expand our collection. To carry out this mission we must go to the main cemeteries of the cities and use the Bouquet of orange dead flowers (that will sell us Peddler) to discover a spirit and give us the mission The grateful dead.
Once we have it, it will ask us to deliver Pan de muerto. To achieve this we will have to buy the Recipe: bread of the dead al Peddler and cook it. Once completed, we will return to deliver the mission and thus obtain our Macabre puppet.

These are the achievements that we can obtain during this event:
- A death party: We will have to dance with Catrina to be converted with the special skeleton outfit. We can find it in most cemeteries in the main cities (Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Exodar, Orgrimmar, Undercity, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff, Shattrath and Dalaran).

- Winds!: Defeat 20 contestants wearing a contestant outfit purchased on the Festival of the Dead.
- Skull: Defeat 50 contestants wearing a contestant outfit purchased on the Festival of the Dead.

The Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration of pre-Hispanic origin that honors the deceased on November 2.
