Hey good ones! How's life going for you? We hope well because today we bring you the official guide to GuíasWoW by Tinker Major Mekkatorque, boss of this new raid recently added in patch 8.1.0, the Battle of Dazar'alor. Without further ado, let's get to it!
Battle of Dazar'alor
The Battle of Dazar'alor is the second band that we will see in this expansion, Battle for Azeroth, where we will be able to continue the history of both factions and the battle that will take place in the main city of the Zandalari. Will the Alliance end the Horde once and for all or ... will it be the Horde who manages to defend the great city of gold from which its newest allies come?
The Alliance assaults the heart of the Zandalari Empire in Battle of Dazar'alor, a new raid that offers unique encounters for Horde and Alliance players, as well as the opportunity to participate in events from the opposing faction's point of view.
Since time immemorial, Dazar'alor has stood at the center of the vast and powerful Zandalari empire. Its guards have thwarted numerous attempts to kill King Rastakhan, and the structure has survived hardships both in recent times and in the past. However, as war nears the shores of Zuldazar, the Alliance embarks on a daring ploy to lay siege to the golden pyramid and break the Zandalari's link with the Horde.
Handyman Greater Mekkatorque
Gelbin Mekkatorque's inventions of unparalleled ingenuity have been central to the Alliance's attack on Dazar'alor. Their state-of-the-art armor features the latest (and deadliest) artillery that Gnomish technology has to offer.
On this occasion, we will once again have the collaboration of Yuki y zashi. Here is the complete guide to Handyman Mayor Mekkatorque:
Without further ado, let's start with the boss's guide.

Strategy
We will develop this combat by continuously attacking Mekkatorque. When it reaches 40% of its maximum health, it will start phase 2 that will last approximately one minute where we will not be able to attack it. After this phase, the third and most difficult of the entire combat will begin.
Normal
Phase 1: For Gnomeregan!
As in this case there are no great mechanics about direct combat against Mekkatorque, we will place the abilities below and a brief explanation:
- Electroshock blows will be the ability you use on the tank, dealing upward damage for each melee hit, applying Electroshock amplification to said tank. This effect will reset after the target change, so tanks will have to change every x marks (depending on how long they can hold).
- Rampaging cannon He will use it from time to time, selecting a random player and, after a short channeling, he will launch an energy ball towards the target. This should be avoided as, in addition to dealing a large amount of damage, it will place a damaging debuff over time to the caster who has come into contact with the ability. This debuff also reduces the caster's haste by 100%.
- Gigavolt load will be a damaging debuff in time that you will place on a random player. This debuff lasts long and activates Gigavolt blast upon expiration, applying another much more deadly debuff to players hit (in addition to dealing a large amount of damage) To prevent this, the marked players will have to stand behind some rock piles that will appear on the stage.
- Heavy propellants it will be a faculty that launches from time to time, using Take off and jumping on a random player, dealing a massive amount of damage in the area of impact. Next, Mekkatorque will mark an area within the combat zone against which Crash.
- World amplifier it will be an ability that will be used every 1 minute, marking several players who will remain Shrunken, almost completely eliminating the damage they deal. Players who do not have this debuff, when passing over them, will be Run over. Players with the debuff will be able to climb over Sparkbot, adds that we will see in the next section.
Every so often, Mekkatorque will activate Deploy sparkbot, invoking a Sparkbot that he will launch on the combat area and these will use Pulse of sparks constantly until the machine has been turned off. Players Shrunken they must climb on these enemies to deactivate them from within and render them permanently unusable. You need to enter the code three times correctly to fully disable them. The abilities of these enemies are as follows:
- Gnomish Force Shield Sparkbots will get it as they can only be removed after deactivation.
- Pulse of sparks Damages and stuns all nearby players.
- Anti-tampering protocol it is the defense method that these enemies have. If players make a mistake by entering the wrong code or pass 45 seconds, they will activate Anti-tamper discharge.
In order to deactivate these Sparkbots, players inside them will have to look at the symbol above the heads of other players inside the Sparkbots. Suppose player A and B have entered a sparkbot. A must tell B the symbol and color that appears above B's head so that B can place the code (it will change each time a symbol is placed). In the case of B, you must also tell A the symbols that appear above his head. In this way, and after adding three symbols correctly, the spark bots will be totally useless.
Phase 2: Evasive Maneuvers!
After reaching 40% of its maximum health, Mekkatorque will rise up and remain static in midair. This phase will last approximately one minute and we will not be able to attack him. We will have to dodge all the skills that it is throwing at us:
- Call explosive sheep will use it every few seconds, summoning a bunch of mechanical sheep that will channel the ability Vermin blast dealing a massive amount of damage to players inside after the explosion and also casting Sheep shrapnel.
- Gigavolt load will continue to use it in this phase and will continue to leave the same explosive debuff Gigavolt blast.
- World amplifier will continue to use it in this phase and will continue Shrunken to the players, so we must be careful with Run over.
Phase 3: Hyperpower!
This phase will be developed in the same way as the first phase, only you will get the benefit Hyperpower.
Heroic
- On this difficulty, Sparkbots will gain the ability Boost. After accumulating 5 marks, there will be Driven.
- Mekkatorque you will get Wormhole Generator.
- The symbols that will appear on the Sparkbots can only be seen by other players inside them.
