hunter survival cover 7.3.5

Hey good! How is life for Azeroth? Today we bring you the Survival Hunter guide with basic tips for the class, recommended gems and enchantments, talents and, of course, the best equipment for this patch. Let's get started!

Hunter Survival

From an early age, the call of the wild draws some adventurers from the comfort of their homes into the unforgiving primal world. Those who endure become hunters and some even learn to forge numerous friendships with the creatures of the wild.

Strengths

  • Has a ton of burst damage in multi-target encounters.
  • You don't need big legendaries to increase your damage.
  • It adapts to any situation.
  • It's one of the best specs in the game right now.

Weak points

  • The change of objectives is not satisfactory.
  • Not one of the highest damage specs in melee.
  • It is a complicated specialization.

Modifications in patch 7.3.5

  • There have been no changes in this patch.

Talents

Following the same line as previous guides, I will bring you several ways to face your enemies and different ways to develop the encounters, be it massive objectives or just single-objective encounters. As in the previous guide, choose the ones that you like the most or are close to your possibilities.

-Talents in yellow: they can become the best depending on which fights, in this case, they are the best for single-objective encounters.
-Talents in blue: you can choose them in case you do not like the ones that appear in yellow, there will not be much difference in the DPS.
-Talents in green: these talents are the best to do much more damage in areas, that is, encounters with more than three objectives.

  • Level 15: Path of the Mok'Nathal
  • Level 30: Snake Hunter
  • Level 45: Separation
  • Level 60: Caltrops
  • Level 75: Forestry Network
  • Level 90: Snake Sting
  • Level 100: Spitting Cobra

survival hunter talents 7.3.5

lvl 15

  • Animal instincts: Flank Strike also reduces the remaining cooldown of one of the following random abilities by 3 sec: Flank Strike, Mongoose Bite, Aspect of the Eagle, Harpoon.
  • Throwing axes: Throw 3 axes at an enemy, each dealing (312.5% attack power) damage. of physical damage.
  • Path of the Mok'Nathal: Raptor Strike also grants you Mok'Nathal Tactics, increasing your attack power by 3% for 10 sec. Stacks up to 4 times.

Path of the Mok'Nathal he is the best option for this branch of talents as he is much stronger than the other two for almost any situation. The other two talents have lost position since patch 7.1.5, leaving them much lower than lane.

lvl 30

  • Flock of crows: Summons a flock of crows to attack your target, dealing [(162% attack power) * 16]. Physical damage over 15 sec. When a target dies while affected by this ability, Flock of Crows' cooldown is reset.
  • Fatal wounds: Each time Lacerate deals damage, you have a 2% chance to gain a charge from Mongoose Bite.
  • Snake hunter: Instantly grants you 3 charges of Mongoose Bite.

Two of these talents in this branch do not differ in the amount of damage they deal. Snake hunter It is the best option although there is not much difference with respect to Fatal wounds, since this difference is only a few thousand points of damage.

Flock of crows It shouldn't be used as the damage percentage drops drastically from the other two.

lvl 45

  • Immediacy: Releases you from all movement impairing effects and increases your movement speed by 60% for 5 sec.
  • Separation: You jump back.
  • Burns: Your movement speed will be increased by 30% when you have not been attacked for 3 seconds.

Separation He is the best talent for this branch under any situation since it is the one that gives us the most mobility on stage. Neither of the other two talents are bad, but for raiding, Disengagement mobility is the best choice.

Burns can be used for dungeons or even world quests just like Immediacy.

lvl 60

  • Caltrops: Places thistles in an area for 15 sec. Enemies who step on a caltrop will receive (45% attack power). Bleed damage every 1 sec and will have 70% less movement speed for 6 sec.
  • Guerrilla tactics: Booby Trap deals 50% more damage and Ruse's effects are further enhanced: Freezing Trap cannot be interrupted with damage for the first 6 seconds. Tar Trap reduces enemy movement speed by (20 - 70)% for the first 4 sec. Booby trap causes the target to miss the next 2 melee attacks.
  • Steel trap: Throws a steel trap at the target location, immobilizing the first enemy that approaches for 30 sec, dealing (1500% of Attack power) damage to them. Bleed damage over 30 sec. Other damage can cancel the immobilization effect. You can only have one active. The trap lasts 1 min. Trick: After 2 seconds, fully arms, dealing 500% increased damage if triggered by an enemy not in combat.

Caltrops It should be the recommended talent for many of the situations where you need to do optimal DPS. The other two talents should be used if there is a mechanic in which the choice of this branch is important or, similarly, that it is not a choice for the DPS.

lvl 75

  • Sticky bomb: Throw a concussion grenade at your target that sticks and explodes after 2 sec, knocking back all nearby enemies.
  • Forestry network: Throws a net at the enemy, roots them for 3 sec and reduces movement speed by 50% for 15 sec. Damage can cancel the effect.
  • Camouflage: You and your pet blend into the environment and gain stealth for 1 min. While cloaked, you heal for 2% of maximum health every 1 sec.

This talent branch is optional and highly dependent on the situation you are facing. Forestry network is the default talent normally.

lvl 90

  • Butcher shop: Hit all nearby enemies with a barrage of hits, dealing 694%. of physical harm to each.
  • Fire grenade: Throws a dragonfire grenade at the target that explodes into flames, dealing [(1304% attack power) + (400% attack power)] p. Fire damage over 8 sec and slows their movement speed by 20%. The target's volatile flames also scorch nearby enemies.
  • Snake bite: Targets hit by your Raptor Strike and Carve also suffer Serpent Sting, dealing (864% attack power) for damage. Nature damage over 15 sec.

Snake bite It is the talent that we will choose in single objective matches.

Butcher shop we will choose it in meetings of various objectives.

Fire grenade not a good option as a lot of damage is lost.

lvl 100

  • Spitting cobra: Summons a Spitting Cobra for 30 sec that attacks your target for (100% attack power). Nature damage every 2 sec. While the cobra is active, you gain 3. extra focus every 1 s.
  • Expert Trapper: All your traps receive the following buffs-> Freezing Trap: When the incapacitating effect of Freezing Trap ends, the movement speed of the victim and all nearby enemies is reduced by 50% for 4 sec. Booby Trap: Increases the damage done by Booby Trap to the enemy who triggered it by 75%. Tar Trap: Enemies that pass through the tar have a chance to become rooted in place for 4 sec. Steel Trap: Your Steel Trap also immediately deals (500% attack power). Bleed damage when activated. Caltrops: Increases Caltrops damage by 50%.
  • Beast aspect: Kill and Flank Strike have an additional effect, depending on your pet's specialization. Ferocity: The target also bleeds for (270% attack power). Physical damage over 6 sec. Tenacity: Your pet also takes 30% less damage for 6 sec. Cunning: Additionally, the target's movement speed is reduced by 50% for 4 sec.

Spitting cobra It is the best option for single objective matches.

Expert Trapper It is a talent that we can choose when there are many objectives in the meeting that do not consist of much health.

Beast aspect It is not a recommended talent due to its lack of damage compared to the previous two.

Artefact

Before attaching the image that will help you to make the best paths in your artifact weapon, I must warn you that at level 110 you will directly unlock Artifact Knowledge at level 41, obtaining an artifact point multiplier of 5.200.000 %. Perhaps it is best to wait at maximum level to worry about the roads and not waste a lot of time in this regard.
