Nazjatar: Visitor's Guide

nazjatar

Hello guys. With the entry of the new patch Rise of Azshara On June 26, we will have many news and among them the kingdom of nazjatar. We leave you a preview with the Nazjatar Visitor's Guide.

Nazjatar Visitor's Guide

Following a hectic chase across the seas, the Alliance and Horde encounter an ancient enemy that has long lurked in the depths: Queen Azshara and her fearsome Naga army. With their fleets decimated after the ambush of Azshara, the two factions must establish a base of operations and collaborate with new allies in the dangerous kingdom of Nazjatar.

Before embarking on your journey to Nazjatar, you will need to reach level 120 and complete the mission "Unlock the world", which gives access to the missions of the world in Battle for Azeroth. With the arrival of Rise of Azshara, you will be summoned by Genn Greymane or Nathanos Blightcaller to start the events that will take you to Nazjatar.

The catastrophic confrontation with Azshara has left your ship in ruins and, after waking up among the wreckage, you will discover an amazing find: a gigantic hole in the sea where the oceanic mantle used to be. Your first task will be to search for survivors, but Azshara's army is still on the hunt and you will have to hurry to cross almost impassable cliffs and waterfalls and find a refuge. With the help of new allies, the Unchained, the Horde will find refuge in Newhome, south of Nazjatar, while the Alliance will join forces with the Ankoan Tideblade in Mezzamere, to the northwest.

After establishing your base of operations, you will need to advance through the area's story arc before tackling the many diverse events and activities that Nazjatar offers. Shortly after Horde players reach the mission "Into Nazjatar" and Alliance players do the same with "A Brief Relief", you will unlock access to a wealth of content in the area and can explore Nazjatar with Total freedom.

Nazjatar is as beautiful as it is dangerous, teeming with coral forests and quirky sea creatures that glide through passageways and cling to rocks. Now, the secrets that have lain under the sea for millennia are exposed to the outside world, including the ancient ruins of Zin-Azshari, once glorious capital of the Kaldorei. In addition, in the darkest of depths, awaits the beautiful and gloomy city of the naga ... and the palace of the Queen of the Tides herself.

New friends

To better confront the dangers of Nazjatar, the heroes of the Alliance will join forces with the Ankoan Tideblade, a faction of undersea warriors with extensive experience in dealing with the threats posed by the ocean. Meanwhile, the heroes of the Horde will find loyal allies in the Unchained, a disparate group of makruras, sea giants and gilgoblins who operate in communion to fight for their freedom and shed the oppressive yoke of the nagas.

If you help your new allies and prove yourself, they will return the favor by offering you the services of their most seasoned warriors and hunters. These special allies will accompany you on your adventures in Nazjatar, gain more power when you complete their special missions, and ultimately unlock new abilities and rewards.

By enhancing your reputation with the Ankoan Tideblade or the Unchained, you will gain access to new items that you can purchase from their quartermasters with gold or prismatic mana pearls. For example, Alliance players will be able to tame and ride the mighty Ankoan Tidal Ray by achieving Exalted reputation with their allies. While exploring the vast territory of Nazjatar, you can improve your reputation and get more rewards by completing world quests, participating in daily activities, hunting strange and powerful creatures and many other things ...

Did you know that ...? A little help

Nazjatar is a dangerous area, full of strange and incredibly powerful creatures, but you can gain a certain advantage against them by taking advantage of the many combat bonuses that the territory offers. You'll find some on the ground (like the Poison Spiral Blade, which increases damage dealt for a short time), while you'll find others when looting creatures on your adventure or defeating powerful enemies. There is so much to discover!

New benthic equipment

As you explore Nazjatar, you will collect Prismatic Mana Pearls, a new type of Soulbound currency that you can spend to purchase tokens and benthic upgrades. These account-bound tokens grant a piece of upgradeable benthic equipment corresponding to your armor type (cloth, leather, mail, plates) at item level 385 or higher. After spending time and effort, players can use their mana pearls to upgrade pieces to item level 425 to bring them almost to the level of heroic raid equipment (430). You have more information about the benthic equipment in our previous advance.

New PvE Events

Summons from the Deep

For the duration of the players' adventure in Nazjatar, Queen Azshara will periodically deploy her Naga armies to summon a powerful creature that will emerge from the depths, triggering an event over the entire territory. It will be divided into two phases: in the first, you will have some time to kill the queen's elite nagas, while the second will require the collaboration of the players to defeat the monster summoned by the nagas. Pay attention to the skull icon that will appear on the map to indicate that one of these events is in progress.

Elite Commanders of Azshara

Occasionally, players will have to face five of Azshara's elite commanders who will spawn across Nazjatar (only available when war mode is disabled). You will get prismatic mana pearls - with which you can buy various items from your favorite vendor - by defeating any of them. And the more enemies that are defeated, the more mana pearls you will pocket!

New PvP Event: Battle for Nazjatar

Players with war mode enabled in Nazjatar will be able to participate in a new PvP event to earn rewards and achievements. During the "Battle for Nazjatar" event, the Horde and the Alliance will have to join forces to capture and hold five points in the territory: Ala'thir Spire, Lemor'athra Spire, Thoras'tal Spire, Confluence of the Tides and Zin-Azshari.

Once these towers are captured, the two factions will begin to accumulate points for each one they control. The first to reach 10 points or the one that accumulates the most points after 000 minutes will win the victory.

If you have defeated an enemy player during the event, with the first victory of the day you will get 200 conquest points and 10 commendations of the battle of Nazjatar, while the defeated faction will receive a small amount of conquest points and commendations of the battle of Nazjatar redeemable for rewards such as the mighty Inkscale Deepseeker mount.

New world bosses

As you explore this barren new territory, keep an eye out for two new world bosses: Ulmath, the Soulbinder, and Wekemara.

Ulmath, the Soulbinder: Ulmath, the Soulbinder, seeks to subdue the spirits of Nazjatar. If you don't confront him, he will use an unstoppable army of undead enslaved to his twisted will.

Wekemar: Summoned from the depths through an ancient naga ritual, Wekemara will emerge again to wreak havoc on the surface.

New Raid Dungeon: Eternal Palace

Your journeys through Nazjatar will eventually lead you to the throne of Queen Azshara in the Eternal Palace, a new gang with 8 bosses, including the Queen of Tides most loyal champions. You can expand the information about this new band and its release schedule in this advance.

In Nazjatar you will experience the next chapter in the history of Battle for Azeroth, you will face great legends from other times and, along the way, you will get a multitude of treasures, mounts, pets, achievements and much more ... Prepare to face the dangers of Nazjatar starting next June 26, launch date from Rise of Azshara!
