front page priest discipline 7.3.5

Hey good! How is life for Azeroth? Today we bring you the Discipline Priest guide with basic tips for the class, recommended gems and enchantments, talents and, of course, the best equipment for this patch. Let's get started!

Discipline Priest

Priests are spiritually committed and express their unwavering faith by serving the people.

Strengths

  • He is a somewhat hybrid character between damage and heal.
  • You can place shields.

Weak points

  • It has very little mobility.
  • This spec is a bit weak compared to other specs in this patch.

Modifications in patch 7.3.5

  • There have been no changes in this patch.

Talents

Following the same line as previous guides, I will bring you several ways to face your enemies and different ways to develop the encounters, be it massive objectives or just single-objective encounters. As in the previous guide, choose the ones that you like the most or are close to your possibilities.

-Talents in yellow: they can become the best depending on which fights, in this case, they are the best for single-objective encounters.
-Talents in blue: you can choose them in case you do not like the ones that appear in yellow, there will not be much difference in the DPS.
-Talents in green: these talents are the best to do much more damage in areas, that is, encounters with more than three objectives.

  • Level 15: Outcast
  • Level 30: Angelic Feather
  • Level 45: Bright Force
  • Level 60: Shield Discipline
  • Level 75: Sanctuary
  • Level 90: Purge the Evil One
  • Level 100: Proselytism

priest discipline talents 7.3.5

lvl 15

  • Destiny twist: After healing a target below 35% health, you deal 20% additional damage and heal 20% more over 10 sec.
  • Lesson: Penance fires an additional blast of Holy Light for the duration.
  • Cisma: Attacks the enemy's soul with a surge of Shadow energy, dealing (425% ability power) p. Shadow damage and increases your damage to the target by 30% for 6 sec.

Lesson It is the default talent for this first Talent Branch as, along with the last tier of Antorus, its potential is much greater than the previous two. However, if we have the legendary Soul of the High Priest, the potential of this talent will increase greatly.

Destiny twist he's a great talent and quite viable for both dungeons and raids.

Cisma It is not a good talent since, even if our damage is maximized, we lose a large amount of mana that we should save for difficult situations, especially if we do not have equipment yet.

lvl 30

  • Angelica feather: Places a feather at the targeted location that increases the movement speed of the first ally to pass over it by 40% for 5 sec. Only 3 pens can be placed at a time. Maximum 3 charges.
  • Body and mind: Power Word: Shield and Leap of Faith increase your target's movement speed by 40% for 3 sec.
  • Masochism: When you cast Shadow Mend, its damage over time effect heals you instead of damaging you and reduces all damage you take by 10%.

Angelica feather It is the best option for this branch of talents since it gives us a lot of mobility, not only to us but also to those who want to help. You know… a lot of people prefer to stay in the areas to finish casting their abilities.

Masochism it's a good talent if you don't need to move in encounters.

lvl 45

  • Bright force: Creates a burst of light around a friendly target, knocking back nearby enemies and reducing their movement speed by 70% for 3 sec.
  • Psychic voice: Reduces the cooldown of Psychic Scream by 30 sec.
  • Dominant mind: You can also control your own character when Mind Control is active, but it now has a 2 min cooldown and cannot be used against players.

In this branch of talents, the choice will depend on the situation of the encounters. This branch does not have great relevance in encounters within raids.

lvl 60

  • Power Word: Comfort: Strikes an enemy with Celestial Power for (350% ability power) damage. Holy damage and restores 1.00% of your maximum mana.
  • Shield discipline: When your Power Word: Shield is completely absorbed, you instantly regenerate 1% of your maximum mana.
  • Dominating: Summons a Mindbender that attacks the target for 15 sec. Generates 8 p. of insanity every time the mindbender attacks.

Shield discipline he is the best talent for any situation and I find in raids as he is a great mana generator. The best option even if we are equipped.

Power Word: Comfort It is a possible option to highlight, but the previous one is much better than this one due to the potential it provides.

Dominating used in 5 player dungeons.

lvl 75

  • Sanctuary: Smite's absorb effect is increased by 50%.
  • Clarity of will: Shield the target with a protective shield for 20 sec, absorbing [ability power * 9 * (1 + Versatility)]. Of damage.
  • Shadow pact: Use the power of the shadow to heal (500% of ability power). health to the target and 4 injured allies within 30 yards, but also leaves a shell on them that absorbs the following [(500% ability power) * 50/100] p. healing they receive in 6 sec.

The best talent in this tier 75 branch is Sanctuary since, the other two, are usually used more for dungeons.

lvl 90

  • Purge the evil one: Purifies the target with fire, dealing (100% ability power). Fire damage and (500% ability power). additional Fire damage over 20 sec. It spreads to an extra nearby enemy when you cast Penance at the target.
  • Divine star: Throw a divine star forward 24 yards, healing for (90% ability power). to allies in its path for (145% ability power) damage. Holy damage to enemies. Upon reaching its destination, the divine star returns to you, again healing allies and dealing damage to enemies in its path.
  • Halo: Creates a ring of Holy energy around you that expands at high speed up to a 30 yd radius, healing for (287.4% ability power) for damage. to allies for (431.1% ability power) Holy damage to enemies.

Purge the evil one It is the best option for raiders. Halo It can be used in some encounters due to its great potential to heal multiple targets at the same time.

Divine starHowever, it is not the recommended talent for any situation.

lvl 100

  • Infusion of power: Infuses you with power for 20 sec, increasing haste by 25% and reducing the mana cost of all spells by 25%.
  • Gracia: Increases your non-Atonement healing and absorption by 30% on Atonement targets.
  • Proselytizing: Extend all your active Atonements for 6 seconds.

Proselytizing It is the best option for raiding as the other two talents lose to the latter. So much Gracia as Infusion of power they are used more in mythical ones. Infusion of power It can also help us to maintain a high level of survival on the tank.

Artefact

Before attaching the image that will help you to make the best paths in your artifact weapon, I must warn you that at level 110 you will directly unlock Artifact Knowledge at level 41, obtaining an artifact point multiplier of 5.200.000 %. Perhaps it is best to wait at maximum level to worry about the roads and not waste a lot of time in this regard.

Practical tips

  • Use Power Word: Shield whenever we have it available.
  • Keep  Shadow Word: pain y

Purge the evil one in all the goals you can. However, it prioritizes heal over damage.

  • Use

Penitencia whenever we have it available.

  • Use both loads of

Power Word: Radiance to add Atonement.

  • Use

     Dominating provided it is available.

  • Use

     Proselytizing after using

Power Word: Radiance to maintain and extend the time of

Atonement of all targets with this buff.

  • Use

Wrath of the Light when there are a large number of targets with the buff

Atonement to deal a large amount of damage to the target. Then we will use

Power Word: Radiance to perform a large percentage of healing.

  • We can use Punishment at any time to deal damage, either as filler or just because we like to spam things.
  • We can use

Shadow Relief If we need to perform a great healing but we must bear in mind that it will spend a lot of mana so it will be better to use it in other abilities.

  • We can use

     Appeal to apply

Atonement to the friendly targets of the group.

  • Purify It is the ability that will allow us to clear the debuffs of friendly objectives.
  • We can use Power Word: Barrier when there is a large amount of damage in the raid. This is a small area so the group will need to group together.
  • Pain suppression This is a defensive cd that should normally be used on tanks to maximize their chance of survival.
  • Dispel magic removes a beneficial buff from the target.
  • Mass dissipation This ability is only possessed by the Priest and will allow him to disperse in an area to all the targets that are within it. Her mana consumption is very high, so we must be careful not to spam her like crazy.
  • Jump of faithYou simply attract the selected friendly target. Useful if we need to remove a cone from the harmful areas ... normal. You probably use it about three times per combat.
  • Fade off This faculty will allow you to reduce the agriculture generated. It can be useful in dungeons ... and don't believe it either.

This guide is 100% dedicated to the dungeon discipline, be careful not to confuse people with a greeting and good guide.

Good! I appreciate you taking a second to comment on the guide. The problem with this specialization in this patch is that it is very, very weak compared to the others and is not usually worn for raids or at least that is what I have seen. Perhaps there is some other talent that rents more for the raid in particular but I am not very clear about it. Hopefully the disci will be viable as a heal top again at least.
