This guide will teach you the fastest and easiest way to climb Skinning from 1 to 600. Keep in mind that this guide is not for making gold, it is just a simple guide that shows you the fastest way to climb. It is aimed at high level players who want to change their profession at high levels, but this does not mean that it is not good for low level players.
Skinning Guide 1-600
Going up will be easy, but really boring. You will have to go around and skin hundreds or even thousands of mobs. It is better to combine it with Leatherworking. Visit any Skinning Trainer, and learn Skinning Apprentice. Don't forget to buy a Skinning Knife, it will give you +10 Skinning points. Beasts in intermediate zones cannot be skinned because those zones are for level 1-6 players and you don't have any profession until you reach level 5.
When you hit 60, visit your trainer and learn the next Skinning rank.

In the Pale Roost, stone giants hurl rocks at the Stone Drake. When the drakes fall to the ground, they will have 50k health. They drop only Wild Leather or Blackened Dragonscale, and not the leather chips. Drakes have a very fast respawn, and for elites, they are very easy to kill.
