PvE Weapons Warrior - Patch 8.1

Hello guys. Today we bring you the PvE Weapons Warrior guide updated to Patch 8.1 in which we will see the talents, abilities and tips for this class.

Warrior Weapons

In this guide we will talk about the talents, skills and rotation of the Weapon Warrior in patch 8.1. As I always tell you in all my guides, this is an orientation on how you can take a Warrior with weapons and get performance, but with the use of his character each player acquires the skill and way of playing appropriate to him and decides at all times what talents and skills to use. No guide is to the letter since everything depends a lot on the team that we carry at that time and also on who we are going to face.

I also have to tell you that all this can change at any time both on my part and because some talents or abilities change throughout this expansion that has just begun. If that happens, I will keep you posted. Let's go to the mess!

A battle-hardened master of two-handed weapons, they use mobility and relentless attacks to take down their opponents. Weapon warriors wait for the best time to strike their enemies with overwhelming force. Warriors are the bravest fighters on the battlefield, and their fearlessness in combat instills courage in allies and terror in enemies. Experts in the handling of all types of melee weaponry and possessors of incredible physical strength and skill, the warriors are perfectly prepared to fight in the front line and act as commanders on the battlefield.

The weapons warrior is very versatile and adapts very well to all types of combat. The only thing I find a bit lacking is that he has few abilities to heal himself during combat.

Talents

Here you have the build of the talents that I am currently using with my Warrior weapons both for mythical dungeons and for the new Battle for Dazar'alor raid. Anyway, at the moment we have a lot of ease to be able to change talents depending on the boss we are going to face, so if one of them is not to your liking, you can try any other that you think you can do better.

Talents for mythicals +

  • Level One: Skullcrusher
  • Level One: Double Stormy Charge / Discharge
  • Level One: Battle Fervor / Massacre
  • Level One: Defensive attitude
  • Level One: belligerent
  • Level One: Avatar
  • Level One: Anger control

Talents for the new Battle of Dazar'alor raid

  • Level One: Skullcrusher
  • Level One: Double load
  • Level One: Battle Fervor
  • Level One: Defensive Stance / Bouncing Stride
  • Level One: belligerent
  • Level One: Enter to kill
  • Level One: Anger control

Level One

  • War machine: Your auto attacks generate 10% more Rage. Killing an enemy instantly generates 10 Rage points and increases your movement speed by 30% for 8 seconds.
  • Sudden death: Your attacks have a chance to cause your next Execute to cost no rage, can be used against any target regardless of their health level, and deal damage as if you had spent 40 rage points.
  • Skull Crusher: Pummel an enemy's skull, dealing (84% of attack power) points of physical damage. Generate 20 rage points.

I have chosen Skull Crusher because it is the one that convinces me the most to maintain the rotation and allows me to generate anger.

Level One

  • Double load: Increases the maximum number of Charge charges by 1 and reduces its cooldown by 3 seconds.
  • Impending victory: Instantly attacks the target, dealing (39.312% of attack power) points of damage and healing you for 20% of your maximum health. Killing an enemy that grants experience or honor resets the cooldown of Impending Victory.
  • Stormy discharge: Throw your weapon at an enemy, dealing (16.38% of attack power) points of physical damage and stunning them for 4 seconds.

I have chosen Double load for the mobility it gives me.

Level One

  • Slaughter: You can now use Execute on targets below 35% of their health.
  • Battle fervor: Whirlwind deals 10% more damage and Slam hits your primary target.
  • Tear: Wounds the target for an instant (23.2128% of attack power) physical damage and an additional (81.12% of attack power) bleed damage over 12 seconds.

Here I have opted for Battle fervor since he is the one I find the best in most of the fights.

Level One

  • Second wind: Restores 6% health every 1 second when you have not taken damage for 5 seconds.
  • Bouncing stride: Reduces the cooldown of Heroic Leap by 15 seconds, and Heroic Leap now also increases your running speed by 70% for 3 seconds.
  • Defensive attitude: A defensive combat state that reduces all damage you take by 20%, and all damage you deal by 10%. Lasts until canceled.

Here I have chosen Defensive attitude for most of the encounters to take advantage of its damage reduction, although in some encounters that need more mobility we can also use Bouncing stride.

Level One

  • Collateral damage: When your abilities deal damage to a second target by Sweeping Strikes, you recover 20% of their Rage cost.
  • BelligerentHit the ground and break the armor of all enemies within 8 yards, dealing (150% of attack power) points of physical damage and increasing your damage dealt to them by 30% for 10 seconds.
  • Crack: Hit all enemies in front of you with a sweeping attack that deals (45% of attack power) points of physical damage. Hitting 3 or more targets causes Deep Wounds.

This time the talent that I like the most for my game is Belligerent And it complements very well with Bladestorm.

Level One

  • Go in to kill: Colossal Smash increases your Haste by 10%, or 20% if the target's health is below 20%. Lasts 10 seconds.
  • Avatar: Transform into a Colossus for 20 seconds, causing you to deal 20% more damage and remove all Rooting and Snapping effects. Generate 20 rage points.
  • Deadly calm: Reduces the Rage cost of your abilities by 100% for 6 seconds.

This time I have chosen Go in to kill for most encounters.

level 100

  • Anger control: Every 20 rage points you spend reduces the remaining cooldown of Warbringer and Bladestorm Colossus Smash and Bladestorm by 1 second.
  • DreadnoughtOverwhelm has 2 charges and increases the damage of your next Mortal Strike by an additional 10%.
  • Devastating: Launches a spinning weapon at the target location, dealing [7 * (44.226% of attack power)] points of damage to all enemies within 8 yards over 7 seconds. Generates 7 rage points each time it deals damage.

This time I have chosen Anger control which is the one that convinces me the most and sustains the entire fight very well.

Priority statistics

These are the statistics that I carry with my warrior weapons but you already know that nothing is to the letter and that depending on the character, his equipment etc, these statistics may vary.
