Well, a lot of people will be starting to band, gear up, and see some prices scare even the bravest warrior. New epics created, jars, food, repairs ... many things. And the big question that Mewen from Dun Modr asks us is… How do you get money? Well, let's see the different options we have:
Our main source of income will depend mainly on the time we have to play. It is not the same to have one hour a day as three, although I am sure you already knew this. Let's see what different sources there are and which ones are more reliable:
Missions done at max Cataclysm level: Whether they are daily or normal that we have left, they will give some money, but if you do not have an average team, the money / hour ratio will be lower than with other options. The best thing is to do them and at the same time to get different materials according to our profession. The bad thing about these missions is that they run out, and there comes a time when you can only do the daily ones. My recommendation is to do as many as you can on the days that you have more time, and if possible in a group (they are done before and what we want is money, not experience).
Normal and Heroic Dungeons: They give quite a bit of money (a heroic ones 90 minimal, and a normal I think they were 65), although it takes a long time. It is advisable to do a minimum per day, either for equipment or points, but at the moment it is not recommended to farm money, since the gold / hour ratio is very low ( 150 / hour more or less, farming you can get some 2500 / hour). And if you go ... Do not forget to strip everything that can be removed!
Professions and auction house: This is the trickiest part, as it requires taking a little risk. First of all, know what you can take out of your professions, that it is better to create and leave it in the auction house and that it is better to advertise in the trading channel. Actually, this part gives a lot of money, but if you do not calculate well, you can also lose a lot of money. Let's go in parts, to see what can be done:
- Alchemy: Bottles and potions. The best thing you can do is look at the Auction House which ones there are less, create them and put those up for sale. The veraoro is the best. Create whenever you can and sell it, as well as the diamonds for the meta gems. If you advertise, put the link of your specialization and let them know if you keep what comes out of more, how much the unit, if you contribute any material or not ... At the auction house buy plants if they are cheap and create potions instead of go for materials, you can get a lot of money this way.
- Leatherworking: Create patches and sell them at the auction house. Anúnciate saying if you put materials, total price and if you have chaos orbs (necessary for epics, they are linked when collected).
- Ironworks.: Create the Belt Buckles (at level 525, the recipe is purchased in Twilight Highlands) and sell them at the Auction House. Advertise as always, saying if you put mats, price and the orbs you have. You can also make money by making the Elementium Rod. It is not difficult to do and you can make a lot of money. You can also make quality green or blue equipment and with the help of a charming break it up to sell the materials.
- Tailoring: Create threads for pants and sell them. Create both the best ones (that ask for dream cloths) and the inferior ones (that ask for other things), since both can sell very well. - Engineering: Create sights for hunters and put them in the auction house, as they can sell quite well. You can also create the odd pet and sell it. Advertise for hunter bows and tell if you have orbs or not. You can get some money from pets, but also by selling volatile airs if you combine it with a gathering profession.
- Enchantment: Break the mission rewards if their result is worth the one that appears in the auction house (there are addons that tell you how much you can get if you break it with the auction data). Low-level materials also give a lot of money, see which is the most profitable and go for it to the dungeons of that level. Advertise and notify if you have any special recipes, as well as if you have Crystals of the Maelstrom. You can also advertise to break objects in exchange for materials or money.
- Jewelry: Prospect everything you can, always keep the green quality gems and create the blue quality ones, or sell them uncut if their price is not low. Save Green Quality Gems to create Goals or transmute to Blue Quality Gems with the help of an Alchemist and to create the Daily Fire Prism. Do not forget to advertise and if you have any special gem, let me know !! You can buy the ores if they are very cheap and prospect them, so you have more materials. You can also advertise to prospect ore in exchange for materials or money.
- Registration: Create as many cards from the Black Moon Fair as you can. The closer to the day they can be exchanged, the more value they will have. Glyphs are also a good source, but they are a bit treacherous. Don't forget to do the daily quest for counterfeit documents, which also pays a bit of safe money for 3 black muddy inks. If you decide to advertise, remember that you can buy the low-level inks in exchange for black mud inks. If you are lucky and want to take a chance, you can create the black moon fair trinket and sell it when it is not the same. You can get enough money, but not immediately. You can also buy the plants and sell the mysterious fortune cards, although it is very risky. If you sell them well in price you can get a lot of money. You can also advertise to grind the plants in exchange for materials or money.
- Leatherworking, Mining and Herbalism: There aren't many options here. Get all the materials you can for other professions, sell them at the auction house or exchange for other things (for example, you can change the materials for a gem and give more materials instead of money). You can also advertise and say that you get the material that is in exchange for money.
As you can see there are many options to earn money. And all this without playing a lot with the auction house. My recommendation is to do all the possible missions for a couple of days until all the associated achievements are obtained. Then get all the possible materials (farm) and take advantage of our professions. If you have time, always queue for normal or heroic dungeon. When you're done with the quests, see the price of the materials you can get from Northrend and Outland. If they are well priced, or you think there will be few soon, go do the missions in those areas while you burn. So you get more money, more achievements and more materials.
There are many options, and the secret is to never stay still in a city, but to make the most of all your time. I expect a dungeon? Well, I'm going to do missions or farm for a while. That I have to wait for my partner in arenas to connect; while I wait I advertise a bit on the channel (without actually spasming) and I look at the auction house if there is any special offer that I can take advantage of.
