Marksmanship Hunter's Guide

Among other peculiarities, we are the only ranged class that uses physical damage and magic damage attacks. Up to level 40 our equipment will be made up of leather, but at that frontier level, we change the leather for mesh.
Formerly, we were renowned "debuffers" offering the band a series of disadvantages, which helped a lot.
We are also a great source for generate threat, achieving in the last modification a substantial improvement in the skill Redirection, being able to redirect several hunters to the same target at the same time.

In this guide / tip, I will only talk about the specialization that I have the most experience in, and the one that I have enjoyed playing the most: Marksmanship / Marksmanship.

Equipement

Basically the Hunter's aiming kit is based on the Armor Penetration and Agility, giving preference to the first, until you get between 50 ~ 55% Armor Penetration per equipment and gems depending on which trinket you have equipped. From then on, it is recommended to become gentled in Agility.

Although the Attack Power is important, it is not so important as to be hardened with it, it is a thousand times preferable to george in Agility since, apart from the Attack power, Agility grants critical that essential for one of our talent points that converts critics of Chimera Shot, Aimed Shot and Steady Shot at 10% bleed damage. But it is not recommended to become a critic either, because it would be a loss for AP.

It is highly recommended, I would say almost mandatory, wear one of the trinkets that have a chance to grant you Armor Penetration, these are three: Sinister Ringing, Mjolnir runestone y Needle-encrusted scorpion, taking preference the first two since the probability is hit and not critical, but hey, the third is more affordable since you can get them in a heroic dungeon.

Talents

The basic and most widespread distribution of talents in Marksmanship is: 7/57/7

There being very little differences between all the available variables.

The first is advisable with a low armor penetration, the second with a slightly higher penetration and is the most suitable in PvE environments.

Rotation and priority in shots

Well, this is where he discusses the most, put arcane and only three firm, take it out and put four firm ... well, I hope to shed a little light on this.

The priority when launching the shots would be: Kill Shot, Chimera Shot (Chimera Shot), Aimed Shot (Aimed Shot), Arcane Shot (Arcane Shot) and finally Steady Shot (Steady Shot).

Rotation with a high armor penetration would be:

Snake Sting -> Quimera -> Marksmanship -> And it is filled with 4 Firm until Chimera is free again.

With a low armor penetration, the rotation would be:

Snake Sting -> Quimera -> Aim -> Arcane -> And fill with three Steadfast.

The Snake Sting is only rolled once, if you have changed your target in the time it lasts it has been lost, renew it. Kill Shot has absolute preference, once the boss is below 20%, shoot it whenever you can.

Macros of Interest

We have two abilities that do not enter the global cooldown, these are: Matar and Silencing Shot, so we can put them in macros to use in our rotation.

Macro for Aimed Shot:

Gems

Although above everything is quite well explained, I would like to go a little deeper: The gaps have to give us a little the same. Nothing happens if you put gems that are not the color.

The rest of the gems can be red, Armor Penetration up to 50 ~ 55% (depending on the trinket you have equipped) and the rest agility.

Enchantments

Glyphs

Here are several options.

A basic glyph is the Serpent Sting which increases its duration by 6 seconds. This increases our base damage from Chimera Shot. Another glyph to take into account is Chimera Shot, which reduces its cooldown by 1 second, along with Aim Shot we could close the glyphs.
But, there are more options, one option is the Glyph of Death Shot, which reduces its cooldown noticeably.

IT IS NOT AN OPTION, the Glyph of Steady Shot, because it has been bugged for several patches.
