  • Level:??
  • Race: Not dead
  • "Salud": 6,972,500 [10] / 31,376,000 [25]

Commanding the undead defenders who try to prevent the heroes from entering the fortress is Lord Marrow, a monstrosity formed from the bones of the undead.

This guide is for the heroic mode against Lord Marrow so we will assume that you are familiar with the normal version of this encounter. If you are not, I recommend that you read the first normal mode guide to learn a little more about Lord Marrow's basic abilities.

Skills

Ossuary barb graveyard: Throw a huge spike of Bones that Impales any enemy in its path.

Cold flame: Launches a line of icy fire that damages enemies standing above it. Deals 9,000 points of Frost damage every second for 8 seconds (Deals 11,000 points of Frost damage in 25-player mode).
or

Saber whip: Deals 200% of weapon damage to one enemy and its two nearby allies (Deals 300% of weapon damage in 25-player mode).
or

Bone storm: Deals up to 12,000 points of physical damage every 2 seconds to players in the room. Players close to Lord Marrow will take more damage. The entire storm lasts 30 seconds. (Inflicts 14,000 points in 25 player mode)

Strategy

Lord Marrow changes little from his heroic version. As usual, in heroic encounters, the boss's health and the damage it deals is increased. However, there are some small things that change that we will see in detail.

Initial phase

During the initial phase, keep in mind that Cold Flame lasts 8 seconds instead of 3 and therefore tanks will have to deal with 3 lines of fire instead of two. Other than that, the phase continues in the same way and the same strategy is applied as in normal mode.

Bone storm

During the Bone Storm, we will see that Lord Marrow will move once more and will remain in each place much longer. To add a little more chicha to this phase that only forced us to run, it will continue to use Bone Spike Graveyard during the phase. This can be especially dangerous, if the players get impaled inside the bone storm since it now does not negligible damage in both 25 and 10 player modes, although as we move away from the center of the storm, the damage will decrease .

To execute this phase in the best possible way, it is best to keep all the players spread out in one portion of the room. In this way, everyone will be in range to take down the Bone Spikes without having to assign places to move to or have the entire gang huddled in a single point. Keep in mind that as much as possible avoid all Tanks and melee DPS stacking up to kill the Spike, as this greatly increases the chances that Lord Marrow will target that position.

Other than that, the encounter only lasts longer as Bone Storms are longer and have more life.
