Enrollment Guide 1 - 450

La Registration is a profession that was included in the game in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Inscribers create Glyphs that enhance an individual spell or ability. Inscribers can also create Vellums so that enchanters can put their enchantments on them, this meant that enchantments could be traded at auction. They can also manufacture scrolls.

All enrollment recipes require some type of Ink. These are achieved with a skill called GrindWith a use such as Prospecting of jewelers, with this ability you will be able to extract pigments from different plants, pigments are the raw material of inks. So the best profession to combine with registration is Herbalism (do not forget to visit the herbalist guide).

Glyphs are highly valued and necessary for good equipment. There are two types of Glyphs: Sublime and Minor. The sublimes will have effects in combat (adding damage, improving heals ...), while the minor glyphs will give us an improvement such as not needing some type of component for the activation of certain class-specific abilities.

Pigments

To use Grind you will need 5 equal herbs to obtain between 2 and 4 pigments.

Necessary materials

You will probably not need all the materials, so it is advisable to grind only the herbs that you will need.

Jessica Sellers, in Dalaran, sells all low-level inks for Ink of the sea. This means that you could level up your Inscription using only Azure Pigments that are ground from the Northrend herbs, but you would need another Inscriber to grind the herbs for you or buy all the Sea Inks at Auction.

Enrolling Apprentice 1-75

First, and as always, visit one of the Enrollment instructors that you can find in the main cities of both factions and learn Enrollment.

You should know that many Glyphs and scrolls of the same level ranges use the same amount of materials, if you have more than one recipe that is in orange with the same materials you can use the one you like the most. In parentheses you will find the necessary materials to make the necessary amount to raise the marked levels.

20 x Glyphs of… (20 x Midnight ink20 x Light papyrus), you will have several glyphs in orange that require a midnight ink and a light papyrus, at ten points they will turn yellow, choose another and continue until 100.

20 x Glyphs of… (20 x Lion ink20 x Common papyrus), you will have several orange glyphs that require a lion's ink and a light papyrus, at five points they will turn yellow, choose another and continue until 120.

7 x Glyphs of… (7 x Lion ink7 x Common papyrus), you will have several glyphs in YELLOW, yes yellow, that require you a lion ink and a common papyrus, the recipes that are in orange use two inks instead of one, so it is better to finish these five points with yellow recipes.

Convert all your Burnt pigments en Dawn Star Ink. If you are not grinding your own herbs, you can make the glyphs you have orange between 125 and 140.

20 x (Glyph of…) (20 x Ethereal ink20 x Heavy papyrus), normally the orange glyphs will turn yellow every 5 points you get, then you can learn others that will appear orange, for these 20 points you will need to make four different glyphs.

You will have a lot of Ebony Pigments if you've ground your own herbs so turn them into Darkflame Ink. If you haven't reached 330 after doing the inks, or you haven't ground your herbs, you can make some glyphs that are in yellow.
