Epic Gems - Patch 6.2 Jewelery Guide

One of the more exciting new to the professions in Patch 6.2 is the arrival of Epic Gems. These gems are very powerful (and expensive) and learning how to cut them takes a process. In this short guide we show you the way to go to achieve the latest jewelry.

Epic gems

Epic Gems grant +75 stat so they are the most powerful that we can choose to crimp into our gear slots. It is the jewelry novelty in patch 6.2 and being able to have these epic gems in our jewelry involves a rather special process that goes from a simple mission chain to the search of the modules.

The first thing we must do is complete the initial missions of the Tanaan jungle until we reach the first camp of our faction. Once we have finished these missions we must go to the Aktar post in the Ruins of Kanar. Remember to activate the flight path if you do not have it yet, we will have to travel a lot to this place.

Upon reaching Aktar Post we will meet an NPC named Sage of the Sun Chakkis. This NPC will have a mission for us, Taladita Mastery, which consists of finding an assembly apexis gem cutter. The mission will indicate the exact location of the assembly on the map, which is not far away. When we reach the point indicated by the mission we will find the damaged assembly among some bushes and we will complete the mission.

The assembly will give us the mission called Damaged assembly, which consists of introducing 1000 Apexis crystal To repair it. Upon giving the Apexis Crystals, the Construct will go to Aktar's Post.

We will have to return to Aktar's post to complete the mission Damaged assembly at the NPC Sage of the Sun Chakkis. Once completed, the assembly will be fully operational and we will have completed the quest chain required for the new Epic Gems.

By interacting with the construct (Apexis Gem Carver) it will offer us its jewelry skill, allowing us to craft the epic gems in exchange for the necessary materials and corresponding modules. The materials required for each epic gem are: 100 Taladite Crystal, 1 +50 gem of the same stat y 15 Fellight. Bill fellight It is the new Savage Blood in Patch 6.2 and can only be obtained from the Mining, Skinning, Herbalism and Fishing professions in the Tanaan Jungle.

At first we can only craft the epic versatility gem, the rest will be locked until we get the modules. Obtaining the modules of each epic gem will take us some time. The Apexis Gem Cutter makes it easy for us to locate each module.

• Drillite Module of Immaculate Haste: Viryx's Loot (Skyreach dungeon boss on Mythic difficulty).
• Immaculate Critical Strike Drillite Module: Loot of Iskar (leader of the Hellfire Citadel gang).
• Drillite Module of Immaculate Mastery: Sold in the Brawler Guild for 800 Gold (requires reaching Rank 6 with the Brawler Guild).
• Immaculate Multi-Strike Drill Module: Sold at Ashran's Calba Seeker Apexis Vendors for 3000 Gold and 3000 Apexis.

Once we have obtained the desired module, we must return to the Apexis Gem Carver and use the module to unlock the specific epic gem. When it is unlocked, we just need to gather the materials and create the epic gem in the assembly interface. When creating an Epic Gem with the Apexis Gem Carver we will learn to carve it automatically so from that moment on we will have the gem in question available in our jewelry profession and it will not be necessary to come to Aktar's Post to carve it.
