New epic jewelry designs with patch 4.3.

The skins for the new Epic Gems that will ship with Patch 4.3 have recently been added to the Trial Realms. Algymy transmutations have also been added to the game files.

The six base epic gems are as follows:

• Red: Queen's Garnet
• Blue: Deepholm Iolite
• Yellow: Stonelight
• Orange: Lava coral
• Address: Shadow spinel
• Green: Elven Peridot

Base Gems are intended to be earned as a reward from the Dragon Soul raid, possibly for boses in both Normal and Heroic.

Alchemy Transmutations

The transmutations that create the new base gems have been added to the game files, but the specifics like the required components have not been set or specified. So we don't know what those components are, but we'll update you as soon as we hear from you.

Jewelry designs.

New jewelry vendors have been located in Orgrimmar and Stormwind. At the moment, they only sell skins for PvE. We don't know yet if PvP skins (the Spell Penetration and Resilience Gems) can be purchased.

Designs cost 5 Illustrious Jeweler's Samples. Sellers also sell Written on fiery jewels unlimited, for 4 samples of illustrious jeweler each. These tomes show an epic design from the listings below, but in a random manner. This will be especially useful for jewelers who have been saving up their Illustrious Jeweler Swatches during this time, as they will be able to get more designs for a lower price.
