Next we go on to list the skills, separating them into "New and Modified" and "Removed". We will separate talents from skills, as with the new talent system many of our core skills can be modified or improved with the use of talents. Remember that the game is still in alpha phase and therefore all these skills are subject to change. All information collected in this article pertains to Build 20810.

Skills

New and Modified

  • barrier: Instantly protects you for 1 min with a shield that absorbs (0 + Spell power * 4.95). Of damage. As long as the shield is active, the damage will not interrupt spell casting.
  • displacement: Teleports you back to the last Translation point. Reset the Translation time. Can only be used within 6 seconds of Blink.
  • block: You lock yourself in a block of ice that protects you from all attacks and all damage for 10 seconds, but during that time you cannot attack, move, or cast spells. Causes hypothermia, preventing you from casting Ice Block again for 30 seconds.
  • distortion: Distorts the temporal flow, increasing the haste of all party or gang members within 30 yards by 100%. Lasts 40 seconds. Allies will be unable to benefit from Bloodlust, Heroism, or Time Warp for 10 min.
  • Fallen: Slows the fall speed of a friendly target in the party or raid for 30 sec.
  • explosion: Causes an explosion of Arcane magic around the caster, dealing (54.5% of Spell power) p. Arcane damage to all targets within 10 yards.
  • refreshment: Creates 20 mana strudel, providing the mage and his allies with something to eat.
  • invisibility: Instantly turns you invisible, prevents you from being targeted for 20 sec and removes all threat and 2 damage over time effects. Taking any action cancels this effect. You take 90% less damage while invisible and for 3 seconds after the effect expires. Replaces Invisibility.
  • arcana: Strikes the target with energy, dealing (121% of Spell power). Arcane damage and generates an Arcane Charge. Arcane Blast's damage is increased by 50% per Arcane charge, and its mana cost is increased by 100% per Arcane charge. Replaces Frostfire Bolt.
  • missiles: Fires five waves of Arcane Missiles at the enemy over 2 seconds, dealing (28.5% of Spell power) damage. Arcane damage per wave. Generates an Arcane Charge. Arcane Missiles damage is increased by 50% per Arcane charge. Each damaging spell you cast has a chance to activate Arcane Missiles. Limit of 3 charges.
  • new: Hits enemies within 12 yards of the caster, dealing (14.925% of Spell power) damage. Frost damage and freezes them for up to 8 seconds. Any damage dealt can interrupt its effect.
  • power: When activated, you deal 20% more spell damage and your damaging spells cost 10% more mana. This effect lasts for 15 seconds.
  • blink: Teleports the caster 20 yards forward unless there is an obstacle. It also frees him from his bonds and daze.
  • poli: Transforms the enemy into a sheep, causing them to prowl incapacitated for 50 seconds. While prowling, the sheep cannot attack or cast spells, but it regenerates very quickly. If it takes damage it will return to its normal form. Only one target can be shapeshifted at a time. Only works on beasts, humanoids, and vermin.
  • trumpet: Fires bolts of Arcane energy at the enemy target, dealing (74.7% of Spell power) p. Arcane damage. Consumes all Arcane charges. Arcane Barrage's damage is increased by 50% per Arcane charge, hitting 1 more nearby target per Arcane charge for 50% damage. Replaces Fire Blast.
  • armor: Increases your Mastery by 550. The duration of all harmful magic effects used against you is reduced by 25%.
  • slow: Reduces the target's movement speed by 50% for 15 sec.
  • load: Arcane Charge generated by Arcane Blast, Arcane Missiles, and Arcane Explosion, and consumed by Arcane Barrage and Evocation:
    • Arcane Blast: Generate a charge. Arcane Blast's damage is increased by 50% per charge and its mana cost is increased by 100% per charge.
    • Arcane Missiles: Generates a charge. Arcane Missiles damage is increased by 50% per charge.
    • Arcane Explosion: Resets the duration of charges and has a 30% chance to generate a charge if at least one target is hit.
    • Arcane Barrage: Consumes all charges. Arcane Barrage's damage is increased by 50% per charge and hits 1 additional nearby target per charge for 50% damage.
    • Evocation: Consumes all charges. Evocation mana regeneration increased by 25% per charge. Stacks up to 4 times and lasts 15 seconds.
  • spell stealer: Steal a beneficial magic effect from the target. The effect lasts a maximum of 2 min.
  • counter: Counters the enemy's spellcasting, preventing him from casting spells from that school of magic for 6 seconds.
  • wise: Increases maximum mana and mana regeneration by 8%. Arcane charges increase spell damage by an additional 4%.

level 15

  • familiar: Summons a familiar that attacks your enemies and increases your maximum mana by 10%. It lasts 1 hour.

  • torrents: Your Arcane Barrage deals 25% additional damage for each target it hits.

level 30

  • sparkle: Blink now has 2 charges, no cooldown, and can be cast while moving.
  • cauterize: All lethal damage will give you 35% health and then burn 28% of your maximum health for 6 seconds. While cauterizing, slow effects have no effect and your movement speed is increased by 150%. This effect cannot occur more than once every 2 min.
  • snap: Ice Block now has 2 charges, healing you for 3% of your maximum health every 1 sec.

level 45

  • mirror: Create 3 copies that cast spells and attack the enemies of the magician. Lasts 40 seconds.
  • runas: You place an energy rune on the ground for 10 seconds, increasing spell damage by 50% within an 8 meter radius.
  • flow: Magical energies flow through you in combat, increasing and decreasing damage by 4%, in cycles of 10 seconds.

level 60

  • supernova: Create a pulse of arcane energy around the enemy or ally target, dealing (190% of spell power) for damage. Arcane damage to all enemies within 8 meters, knocking them back. The main enemy target will take 100% more damage.
  • loads: When activated, grants 4 Arcane Charges.
  • words: You have up to an extra 10% chance to unleash Arcane Missiles, based on your total mana (higher chance the higher mana).

level 75

  • ice: Your next spell can be cast on the move. It can be cast while another spell is in progress and is not affected by the global cooldown. 3 charges maximum.
  • ring: Summons a Ring of Frost for 10 seconds at the targeted location. Enemies entering the ring are incapacitated for 10 seconds. Maximum 10 objectives.
  • frost: Frost Nova now has 2 charges.

level 90

  • storm: Summons an Arcane Storm on the target, dealing (40,92% of spell power) p. Arcane damage over 12 sec to the target and [(3,41% of spell power) * 12] to all enemies within 10 yards. Limit of 1 target. Damage is increased by 50% for each Arcane Charge used in casting.
  • unstable: Arcane Blast has a 15% chance to explode on impact, dealing 50% additional damage, and to all other enemies within 8 yards.
  • erosion: Your attacks reduce the resistance of the enemy, increasing all the damage suffered by your spells by 1%, stacking up to 10 times. After 3 seconds of taking no damage from your spells, this effect will be reduced by 1% every 1 sec.

level 100

  • overpower: Launching Arcane Missiles lengthens Arcane Power by 2 seconds.
  • hurry: Arcane Blast, Arcane Missiles, and Arcane Explosion also grant 2% haste for 6 seconds, stacking up to 100 times. This effect is removed by casting Arcane Barrage.
  • orb: Throw an Arcane Orb forward from the Mage's position, traveling 40 yards, dealing (74,3% of spell power) p. Arcane damage to enemies it passes through. Grants a charge when cast and each time it deals damage.
