General changes

Some clarifications about the Launch:

Classes

In patch 5.0.4, you could see some of the new class changes and revisions to some talent trees, but there are even more changes to Mists of Pandaria. For example the Tier 14 versions, the Challenge Mode, and the armor models for season 12; as well as new skills, level 90 talents, and major changes.

Remember use the wowhead talent calculatorto set your character to level 90.

Dungeons

There are a total of 9 dungeons for players at level 90. Six of them are new to Pandaria and the other three are redesigns of some classics. Heroic dungeons reward you with items from ilvl 463, little change from the epic ilvl 476 of the last bosses after completing

Challenge Modes They are a new type of dungeon added in Mists of Pandaria. Where we will activate a timer that will measure the time it takes to complete a dungeon, therefore the faster we finish the dungeon, the better rewards await us. The objective will be to scale your team to ilvl 463.

Bands

There are 3 new raids in Mists of Pandaria, and 2 outer bosses.

The two bosses of the World are [Sha of Anger] y Galleon. These bosses work (similar to LFR) and have a chance to reward you with PvE or PvP gear, some rare and mounts.

Bands are planned from the first week of release.

Remember the new quest chain for the legendary weapon now available for all classes in the game. Tier 14 is just the first step in a series: where player players are rewarded with legendary gems of +500 stat.

Pandaren

Pandaren are the new race that you can create in Mists of Pandaria. Some of the things you should keep in mind:

  • You will start in a zone neutral (Remember that the pandaren are the first neutral race in World of Warcraft), when you finish the missions in the area you must choose a side.
  • La Pandaren's racial mount is a Dragon turtle. You can buy it in the capitals Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
  • The Pandarens have some incredible racials:

    • Fluffy: You take half the fall damage.

    • Epicurean: Your love of food allows you to receive double the stats of well-fed effects.

    • Gastronomy: Increases by 15. your cooking skills.

    • Inner peace: Your rest experience bonus lasts twice as long as usual.

    • Withering palm: Hit the target at lightning speed, incapacitating them for 4 seconds and disabling your attack.

PvP

There are two new battlefields and a new arena in Mists of Pandaria.

  • Lonjaplata Mines: A peculiar battlefield that takes place underground (that is, indoors), in a gallery of mines in which both factions must control some wagons with minerals before they reach the deposit, and in the different routes of the Wheelbarrows there are diversion points which, depending on how the trolleys are, travel one way or another. Depending on which faction controls these points, the cart can travel different paths.
  • Kotmogu Temple: Located in the middle of the Valley of Eternal Flowers, players who enter this battlefield will have to seize and keep under control an ancient artifact.

Reputations

In mists of Pandaria, reputations will be much more dynamic. Say goodbye to the old tabard reputation farming method, there are quite a few daily quests and you don't need to be Exalted to get epic items. Rewards will be available to the honored and revered, those who want more exclusive items will need to strive to reach Exalted.

With being Revered with the factions, you can purchase epic items from ilvl 489 with the

Value points. Being exalted, you also access the mounts:

The following factions do not sell epic gear, but they do have some interesting rewards:

  • Fishermen: The Fishermen are a group of pandaren with the aspiration to feed their people and increase their knowledge of fishing. Items, Recipes, and the Reins of the Water Strider.
  • The hermits: Gaining reputation with The Hermits is an unusual process. Instead of completing daily quests (or in a particular area) as with most other Pandaren factions, players will earn reputations by visiting monuments, completing achievements, and listening to folk tales. If the player has an organized route in mind, they will be able to reach Exalting with a flying mount in just hours!
  • Order of the Cloud Serpent: They are the Guardians of the Eastern Temple, you will need to be Exalted for the Reins of the Cloud Serpent and use dragons in pet battles.
  • The farmers: Labradors are productive and peaceful pandaren who work the land to feed the enormous appetites of their own.

ZONES

Doing missions in pandaria is much bigger than before. We have preview screenshots of all the mission areas below, as well as a quick view of Pandaria.

  • The Jade Forest : Level 85-87. First zone in which players can do missions: Covers the conflict between the Alliance and the Horde. Location of Temple of the Jade Serpent and Order of the Cloud Serpent.
  • Valley of the Four Winds : Level 86+. Heart of Pandaria, location of Los Labradores and Thunder Brewery.
  • Krasarang Wilds : Level 86+, a jungle area. Location of Los Pescadores.
  • Kun-Lai Summit : Level 86+, an area that stretches from the Mogu crypts to the Zandalari return. Location of [Sha of Wrath / Sha of Anger], Mogu'shan Chambers, and Shado-Pan Monastery.
  • Tong Long Steppes : Level 88-90. Location of Shadopan and Siege of Niuzao Temple.
  • Dread Wastes : Level 89-90. Location of The Klaxxi and Heart of Fear.
  • Vale of Eternal Blossoms : Level 90 zone. Location of Golden Lotus, The Hermits, Mogu'shan Palace, and the axis of the factions.
