1. Learn to fish: This is a bit of a truism but there are many people who still do not know how to fish and if you want to find this mount you will have to do it. The turtle must be caught in the Northrend Fishing Banks. Head over to one of the Fishing Instructors and get a fishing pole. You should be level 450 to make it easier to catch the Turtle, otherwise you will only catch low-level fish.
2. Find the banks: There is a wonderful object that will allow us to track the fishing grounds and they will appear like this on the minimap. The Deteriorated Diary, we'll get it… by fishing. The best place to get it is in the Zangar marsh in the Heavy Supply Drawers. It took me only 20 minutes to get it, it is quite simple and worth it.
3. Watch TV and massage your hand: Fishing is really boring, my hand still cramps when I remember the hours I spent looking for the Old Man Ironjaw in Ironforge. I used to put something on TV, or a movie so as not to get bored and fall asleep.
4. Head fishing: Since you are going to have to fish in the banks, take advantage and stop by the auction house to see which fish are best sold to make food. The mount only appears in Northrend Fishing Banks so it doesn't matter which bank you fish it from.
