From the earliest origins, Zul'aman has always had a special event. This event requires you to kill the first 4 bosses within 25 minutes to get a mount. Even if you ever got hold of it Amani War Bear, now you can get the new Battle Bear Amani.
In this article we will give you some tips so that you can get rid of the 4 bosses before the 25 minutes are up. We will assume that you already control the fights and, if not, it is recommended that you visit our Guide of Zul'Aman.
General advice
- If you are going to try to get the Bear, it is recommended that you go with a group of people that you know and that you can trust. It is not at all recommended to try it with a group of PuG. Keep this in mind since, surely, while you get into the dungeon finder, many times they will propose you to try to get the mount.
- It is advisable to bring a Shaman or Magician to Blood lust/Heroism/Temporal distortion as well as Crowd Control skills. Whenever possible, use the ground mounts to close distances.
- Do not miss the Amani Power what you will get by completing the mission Voodoo in Zul'Aman with Troll tablet.
- To gain speed, the best strategy is for the tank to start with another group of enemies as soon as there is only one left.
- DPS and Healers must use every second of time to gain mana.
- DPS should be able to use their special abilities to remove pesky spells or damaging effects to save the healer's mana.
Useful skills
- Secrets of the trade to chain groups of monsters.
- Stampede roar/Appearance of the herd for speed improvements.
- You can skip a patrol with some Invisibility Potion.
Strategy to follow
When you start the dungeon, after hitting the gong, you will have 15 minutes. Kill the first group, mount up and head quickly for Akil'zon avoiding the patrols as well as the groups under Akil'zon's altar. As soon as the boss event begins, grab several groups making sure to interrupt the Chain Heal of the Amani'shi Windbreaks. The goal is to catch up with Tempest Amani'shi to prevent more birds from appearing.
As soon as possible, begin the battle with Akil'zon with Heroism activated. It shouldn't take you more than 1 minute to finish him off. DPS can kill the bird alone by taking advantage of the maximum DPS on the boss. Defeating Akil'zon adds 5 minutes to the timer. Forget about the chest, go for Nalorakk.
With the enemy groups of Nalorakk we will move to area attacks. Grab the first group of enemies and bears and kill them with areas together. Once dead, head upstairs and keep taking out each group to areas. Upon reaching the last group of enemies just before Nalorakk, crowd control one of them to prevent damage from spiraling out of control.
Now it's Jan'alai's turn and you should have 5 more minutes on the timer. It is really important kill the Amanishi Explorers who beat the drums attracting more enemies, they have very low health. When you see the Zandalari Giants, keep control of the rest with skills and focus on this one, purge their Tectonic shield as it will help you kill them faster.
When you reach Jan'alai, re-activate Heroism and completely ignore those who come to explode the eggs, take out all of them with areas to take full advantage of the DPS on the boss.
Jump, dodge the giant and patruya and run to the side of the ladder that leads to Malacrass. Call the patrol with the lynx and once dead dodge the groups that you can until you reach the troll with the two crocolisks that you will have to face. It's a good idea to try to interrupt the Beast Tamer's ability to To tame so you don't add more crocolisks to the equation. The tank should be able to take down the two groups of lynx with the help of cooldowns while the group uses all their area skills.
If you did well, you should still have 8-9 minutes to face Halazzi. It is important that you decide whether to kill the water totems or if you are going to put them aside so that not an iota of DPS is wasted.
IF all goes well, Kasha will come out of the cage in Halazzi's room and give you the Kasha bag, a lucky player will get the Battle Bear Amani.
