Patch 7.1 Announced: Return to Karazhan

Blizzard has announced the new 7.1 patch for World of Wacraft, the first Legion patch to be titled Return to Karazhan, redesigning the old TBC raid as a new 5-person raid. It was barely an hour since it was announced at Gamescom, in the Blizzard / Legion section. Ion Hazzikostas, Development Director, was responsible for giving us this great news that Karazhan raid lovers, as a server 😛, will be delighted to meet and in a few months taste.

  • Karazhan will be the central axis in the history of the Legion, being an extremely important place.

  • Karazhan will be a fairly long dungeon of 5 people, with a total of 9 boss encounters (the Opera encounter is counted as one as well).
  • The old Karazhan raid will remain activeThey have no thought at all to erase that piece of Lore.
  • There will be a small event between the launch of the initial two raids, Emerald Nightmare and Nighthold, which concludes with the story of Stormheim, so there are no loose ends.

  • This will contain outdoor content, which is intended to promote and create more content.
  • The PTR for this patch will be available shortly after Legion releases (August 30).

The following points will be prioritized in its development:

  • There was a period when Blizzard focused on getting expansions too fast, sacrificing things they shouldn't, so this mistake will never be made again.
  • The top priority going forward is a constant stream of content.
  • They will make sure there is content in the game while you work on the expansion.
  • The raid tiers should last around 4 to 5 months.
  • They promise not to stop releasing content and avoid a drought like in Wod.

Hi, Attumen the Hunt's mount will still be available after the patch or they'll be like Zul'gurub's Zulian tiger that was removed after putting that raid into the dungeon.
Thank you in advance for the info.
    regards

Good Javier! You can rest assured with that, the ancient raid of Karazhan will not be modified in any of its aspects 🙂
