A few additional details on the new Legendary token:
- We've released a live fix that causes Awakening Essences to drop for everyone, regardless of whether or not they have the mission.
- The number of Essences required to buy tokens and the rate at which they are generated in Patch 7.3.5 will also be drastically increased. The average time taken to purchase a token will remain roughly the same, but this will minimize the benefits of accumulating essences early.
Note: Emissary bags earned before 7.3.5 will still give the number of essences from before 7.3.5. There is no benefit to storing the emissary bags until after the patch.
- We also plan to add Essences of Awakening to your first Battleground victory of the day in 7.3.5.
- Tokens are linked on pickup, because we don't want to overly encourage players to farm Essences with their secondary characters to fatten up their main character's Legendary items. However, if you buy a token with a character who already has all the Legendaries available for his class, he will receive a random Account-Linked token for another class.

Legendaries in Patch 7.3.5
Since the last update of the Trial Realms, we have a new way to get legendary once Patch 7.3.5 is active. From that moment on we will have to go to Arcanomancer Vridiel which is located in the City of Dalaran and will give us the possibility to get the object Purified Titan Essence in exchange for one hundred and seventy-five Essence of awakening.
When using the Purified Titan Essence it will become in a legendary according to our class and specialization and whose item level will be 1.000.
This new formula will allow us to achieve all our legendary in a much faster way and for those players who join the game from now on, it will cost much less to catch up.
The only negative point is that we will not be able to pass it on to any of our secondary characters since the object is linked.
Get a legendary In this way, the usual way of obtaining said legendary. That is to say, they can also continue to be achieved in the same way as we did until now.
We will have a new mission, Titanic innovation that will help us get started in the new way of obtaining the legendary. It starts and ends in the Arcanomancer Vridiel, blacksmith instructor.
The legendary can continue to upgrade to level 1000, in exchange for fifty Essence of awakening. We will no longer have a mission, but we will buy the object directly from the Arcanomancer Vridiel.
How and where to get Essence of Awakening
These essences can be obtained in several ways:
- In the Chest delivered by the various Emissaries of the Broken Isles. Up to a maximum of seven in each chest.
- Weekly PvP Missions, Arenas, and Rated Battlegrounds. Seven for each.
- Chiefs of the Antorus Gang, the Burning Throne. Two to five for each boss.
- First random heroic dungeon of the day. Five essences
- Weekly Loot when performing Mythics with Cornerstone. Twenty essences.
